“Lovely old cottage, furnished well with a nice kitchen having everything you need for eating in (except for a sieve or collander). Clay tiles on ground floor make the floor cold so bring slippers in low season. Some very low beams so tall people beware. Couldn't light the gas fire though. Surprised to find slow-moving bees on window sills or on floor each day when returning from day out.”

Suzanne and John were really thoughtful in sharing that there was unexpected roadwork outside the cottage, giving us the opportunity to find another place to stay but we decided to go ahead and are so glad that we did. “Beautiful cottage with Inglenook fire place. Warm and comfortable and great for exploring Lavenham and surrounding walks. The only disappointing factor was the cleanliness in the kitchen with dirty cups and glass in the bottom of the dishwasher. Considering you pay quite a lot for cleaning and were not allowed to enter the accommodation until 5pm, cleaning was not top of the agenda!”
