“The actual hotel was fine, the area that its in is not safe. Just outside of the entrance there were homeless people laying on the ground and strung out on drugs. I didnt feel safe at all having my family in this particular area of the Bronx. Would never stay here again for that reason.”

The staff at the Bar and the conceirge we extremely kind, and helpful and provided top tier reccomendations for local entertainment and food options. The pool was unfortunately still closed. Property was clean overall and easily found from the bus and subway stations, within walkable distance to the Apollo and lcoal shops.”

“Rooms was clean. The tv had only basic channels and a remote that was not operating properly. When the staff was notified an employee came to the room with the original remote for the tv and said the cable was working fine despite not having all the channels, being able to access the smart functions and the channels kept buffering and going out of service. Couldn’t watch the Knicks game on regular television because of this.”

“I guess you don't get much in a city. The first room I was in smelled of tobacco. There no face cloth provided. The elevator was very slow to arrive. I was on the 4th floor. I wound up taking the stairs. Finally the card key stopped working. The master key didn't work either. They gave me a different room. Not much better but it was on the 1st floor! It didn't smell of tobacco. I did get a wash cloth but no top sheet on the bed. It's decor was quite odd. Hard to describe. No amenities...

“I only stayed here for one night. Once I got into the room, I tried to put the deadbolt on the deadbolt does not have anything to connect to so it’s pointless. I went downstairs. He told me all the doors are like that. Then the mattress, oh my goodness, I had two flat sheets on my bed no fitted sheet. The mattress was horrible. Had cigarette burns and I think I saw a bedbug. “For being what it is, it was OK. Wouldn't stay here with my family, but as someplace to crash overnight it wasn't bad. A bit run down, but the room was clean and the bathroom had even good soaps, shampoo and lotions. Front desk guy (behind glass) was friendly and helpful. ”
