“Die Wohnung war absolut sauber. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern sehr gut. In der Wohnung war alles so wie in der Beschreibung aufgeführt. Es fehlte nichts. Die Lage ist zentral, aber trotzdem wohnt man ruhig. Ein Supermarkt ist in unmittelbarer Nähe. In der Innenstadt ist man zu Fuß in ca 10 Minuten. Zum Meer ca 20 Minuten. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Kleiner Hinweis zum Parkplatz. Die Einfahrt ist sehr eng. Wir waren mit unserem Hyundai Kona dort.”

“Overall beautiful apartment everything we needed and clean. But the mattresses and couches were very disappointing. Even our children 4y.o and 6 y.o did not sleep because the springs stuck through every mattress. Hubby and I had to sleep in seperate beds just to find a comfy spot. Please replace the mattresses. ”

“Nice centralized cozy (no more than 2) apartment. Rental included breakfast food, which was bought and delivered after our arrival. The alley back to the parking area was a bit of a challenge since we had an SUV not a compact car but just added to our "adventure" in Ireland! :D”

“The laundry room was dirty. There were no instructions for using the stove, oven, water heater. No coffee maker and the kettle was corroded. The downstairs bathroom smelled awful. The beds were very uncomfortable. We tried to get an Uber but they refused to come to this address. The advertising of this house gave false expectations. The owners left a message that they needed to send an electrician to fix the dining area light. No one ever came so we had no light. ”

“The spacious 2 bed apartment in Salthill had everything we needed, including a washer/dryer, although the listing on VRBO stated there were coin-operated laundry facilities. The grocery store was 5 minutes away on foot. From our 4th floor location (with lift) we could have our morning coffee while watching the activity at Grattan Beach and on the promenade before walking (20 mins) into Galway city centre.”

“The Walsh's home is a perfect haven. Everything was exactly as noted with beautiful details to all the remodeling done. The location is on a relatively quiet road that is about 2 miles from end to end and makes a perfect walk in the AM or PM. You may have a few sheep or others who demand a photo or two. Short distance to Cong and Ballinrobe, Oughterard, and Maam area are lovely to explore. Michael stays in contact as needed as well as gives you space to explore. I will return, hopefully!”

Great location, not very soundproof rooms
"We had a decent stay at Galmont. This review is based on a deluxe room with sea view. Good: - Close to train station and main streets. - Very friendly staff. - Spacious room with nice view. Could be better: - Soundproofing in rooms. We heard both TV noise and people talking from adjacent rooms. Noise from the road outside was also fairly audiable. Earplugs are highly recommended. - Draft from window, not very well sealed. - Quite slow and not very attentive service in the Coopers restaurant when we visited. Food was good though."
