"Bodde i connectingrum deluxe. 210 säng som var väldigt skön. Rummet var rent men slitet. Hotellet var överlag slitet men fint. Frukost bra för att för att vara bali med bra äggstation. Personalen snäll och hjälpsam. Barnen 2.5år älskade fiskarna i lobbyn, lekrummet och lekplatsen vid havet. Väldigt uppskattat med gratis vatten varje dag. "

"Honest Review of InterContinental Hotel The hotel has potential, but overall didn’t meet expectations. Pool: View ruined by an ugly restaurant roof not shown in booking photos. Kids’ pools were identical — one good for 3–5 yrs, but too shallow for 5–8. Adult pool was too deep. Many seats lacked cushions, uncomfortable for parents who have to sit for hours watching the kids play in the water. Gym: Missing cable crossover and pull-up bar. No bench press either, though free weights were available. Limited training variety. Breakfast: French toast, pancakes, and beef omelet were great. Iced latte was excellent. Dining area was beautiful. But bread options were limited, and butter was rock hard from being stored on ice. No sliced vegetables to make a proper sandwich. Room: Nice upgrade, but insulation was poor. Wind noise scared our kids, kept them awake. Great view and AC, but bad sleep ruined it. Kids couldn't sleep and they felt it was like a horror movie. Kids Club: Great for under-7s. Our 6-year-old loved it. Not enough for older kids. Shower: Water pressure was weak — showers took forever. Strange for a 5 star hotel to have this weak water pressure on the shower. Wi-Fi: Decent, but not top tier. Minibar: Overpriced — felt like a trap. Area: Loved nearby Icon Mall and Three Monkeys restaurant. Overall Rating: 2.8/5. Wouldn’t return."

"En fantastik fint hotell med service, utbud och upplevelse på högsta nivå. Hotellet är mycket bättre än vi först förväntade oss och förlängde därför vår vistelse med ytterligare några nätter. Magiskt bra frukost, härlig bar och bra restaurang. Poolområdet var ett stort plus. Missa inte att spela lite biljard med en kall öl i handen."

"I stayed 2 nights at Akana to recover my batteries before leaving Bali. The hotel is a small boutique hotel in the luxury segment. My room was clean and the bed very comfortable. The pool was right outside my room and had a nice cool temperature in the Bali heat. The restaurant have great food and entertainment with a nice vibe. You can also borrow a bike from the hotel to explore the Sanur Beach walk. Great location within walking distance from the beach (the hotel also has its own beach club). If you're looking for a luxury retreat in Sanur, I highly recommend staying at Akana."
