Detta är en fantastisk 2 sovrum källare lägenhet att göra ditt hem hemifrån basen när du besöker Denver och Colorado! Stor och ljus, bekväma hög kvalitet möbler och sängar med hög kvalitet täcken och lakan, rymlig moment badrum med frodiga badlakan. På sikt tvätt i din lägenhet. På synen och easy street parkering. Trevlig bakgård, med gott om utrymme för att läsa en bok, för restauranger och njuta av vackra Denver kvällarna! Inom den historiska stadsdelen Park Hill finns flera läckra stadsdel bistroer, kaféer, special återförsäljare, vinbutik, yoga studios och mycket mer! Det finns också en Rec Center med fantastiskt arbete ut utrustning (dagligen passerar finns). Till väster om denna fantastiska lägenhet, bara en kort promenad eller cykeltur, är City Park (Denver största park, där du hittar sjön, båthus, världsklass zoo och Nature och Science Museum och offentlig golfbana). Strax bortom City Park, rubrik väst, slår dig Uptown - där det finns många utmärkta restauranger och barer och strax bortom är hjärtat av downtown Denver. Our host was very helpful with a warm welcome when we got there. We got in late and it was dark, so the welcome was very helpful. I felt very safe in the neighborhood and in our condo. This will be our place we stay at whenever we come to the Denver area.

Nice little apartment and budget price

We went to watch a Rockies game and hotels in Denver are ridiculous, found this property on Vrbo close to Coors Field. The price is absolutely a no brainer and everything for that price is awesome. If you need a place to stay not far from downtown, don’t even hesitate because if you do someone else will get it.

Lovely property

Our host, Herbie, was gracious , friendly, yet not intrusive. The apartment was clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the property was conveniently located. I was just a little disappointed, i probably missed this info on the app, but there was no stove or sink in the kitchen area. Everything else was excellent.

Our Worst VRBO—couldn’t even stay

Have rented dozens of VRBOs over the years—always wonderful experiences until now. We left after 1 1/2 hours!! Couldn’t even stay the 2 nights we booked because we felt the urgent need to vacate for health and safety reasons. The property is not as described online or in the positive reviews posted here. Arrived at check in time—host was watching TV on couch with 2 alcoholic drinks and a coffee cup—jumped up surprised—said he’d just finished cleaning (also noticed tequila bottle on outside window ledge at entrance to house) Zero security—top of steps leading to basement have only sliding door leading to owner’s kitchen—no locked door separates rental from owner’s part of house. Because host had been drinking, we felt even more unsafe Smelled strongly of cigarette smoke—all four of us left with headaches after 1 1/2 hours Excessively cold—he said we had no temperature control in basement because he needs to keep comfortable temperature upstairs in his house which makes it really cold downstairs—pointed to a dirty blanket on the filthy couch and said we could use that Loud talking and footsteps could be heard upstairs—if this had continued into the night, loud enough to keep us awake Dirty sheets had visible long dark hairs—made us wonder whether they had been laundered Host begged us to stay quiet about our experience in exchange for refunding almost all our money but did not abide by his promise.

Not what we were expecting

Rental is somewhat smaller than in looks online. Host lives above, so some noise with people walking around in the late evening. No ability to use outdoor space. Windows would not enable exit in event of fire, so probably would not book again due to that. Listing likely showed these items but we did not realize in advance.

Thank you Herbie for a wonderful stay in your home .My family and I felt secure and at home in your airbnd. Herbie is a great host,communicator and makes your stay easy & relaxing .His home is very clean, has possibly everything you need at hand . Herbie makes you feel welcomed the very minute you meet him and let's you know you will have privacy while visiting. Quiet neighborhood, friendly host, great location

Herbie is a very kind, warm host. We enjoyed meeting him & the personal touch of showing us around his property. Everything was clean & it was perfect for the 4 of us. There is plenty to do within walking distance or a short drive. We liked coming back to a quiet, safe neighborhood at the end of the night.

Great location in Aurora

The host is very kind and attentive. The location is great for access to many attractions, including the Denver Zoo and botanical gardens. The rooms are in the basement with no lockable door between the host and renter. That needs to be corrected. Overall, a great time in Denver.

Cute place in a quiet central neighborhood

Super cute, clean house - the basement is where you stay. Coffee machine was a bonus, plan to keep water handy, there is no sink outside the bathroom. Bathroom was great for the 4 of us. Would be nice if you have little ones who need a bath :) We chose this neighborhood since it was central to what we wanted to do - mountains, city and close amenities. - mostly suburban - chain places, but a couple independent mom pops. Plenty parking and owners were around if you need anything. Great private back yard space with table to enjoy outdoors.

Has potential, but lots of challenges

We have stayed at 100s of vrbos and never left a poor review, but we feel like people should be aware of these things so they can make the best decision for themselves. For good, the hosts were really nice, bathtub was fun for kids, and the location was good. For not so good, there is no locked door between the basement apartment and the owners house above, just a sliding door. The bed was so creaky one of us moved to the couch because we would wake up anytime the other one moved. You could hear every step of the owners walking around. This was not a big deal during the day, but given that they were awake and walking around at all hours of the night, we only got 2-4 hrs of sleep. During the time of covid, coming in at check in time to the host in the apartment with no mask on and no windows open didn't feel great. There was no small sink in the kitchenette so we had to wash our dishes in the bathroom. Microwave overheated after a few minutes and stopped working for 10 minutes. Lastly, you have no control over the temperature. The thermostat is upstairs and there were no space heaters. Our kids got cold in the middle of the night, so none of us slept well. We do think this place has potential, but some changes need to be made.

AMAZING stay!

Had an amazing experience in Colorado despite coming in during a massive snow storm. Herbie and his wife were more than accommodating and provided us with a home cooked meal since everything was closed. Very hospitable and extremely nice! Would definitely recommend to everyone.

Excellent Stay

Herbie was very nice and showed us around, even though we arrived late. He was very welcoming. Everything was very clean. We enjoyed the large bathroom. It was a great central location. The property was just as described. I would stay here again!
