Cozy Carriage House - studio in serene Arvada with WiFi, AC

If you're looking for a spot close to the mountains, close to the big city, and with that quaint small-town Americana feel, Arvada is the place for you. This 450sqft carriage house (with an additional 150sqft usable upstairs) has a private entrance with a full kitchen, washer/dryer, private yard, and outdoor seating area.

Only one mile from Olde Town Arvada, you can browse the shops, grab a bite to eat or a drink, or catch the light rail with service to downtown Denver and the airport. Near I-70 for easy access to the mountains for hiking and skiing. One block from Ralston Central Park which features a paved path along the creek—plenty of on-street parking. There is also a futon upstairs in the loft. There is a dog on the premises. He's friendly and will stay on his side of the fence, but he will bark upon arrival. Guests will have their private entrance adjacent to the garage. Its own fence encloses the carriage house and has multiple outside private sitting areas.

Was only there for a few days in transit but everything was perfect location especially for me. Everything you needed was there even Netflix you didn’t have to put your own account. Definitely will come back.

Every single thing about the stay was fantastic. Comfy bed, tons of space, walking distance to great food and groceries and supplies, well-stocked kitchen supplies, super quiet and private, and great communication from the hosts. As with most vacation rentals, you just need to bring your own toiletries and laundry detergent ($1.50 for the travel size at Walmart next door), and everything else is there for you. I highly recommend this home!

Cute carriage house. Perfect as a single woman traveling alone. I felt safe and it was close to all the things I wanted to do. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was nice and the kitchen was great. Can’t ask for more!

Everything was perfect for me. The house was clean and cute with everything I needed; kitchen, laundry, etc. The area is safe and quiet. The location was perfect for me. It was in close proximity to my son’s apartment. Also, it’s a short walk to Olde Town Arvada and made it convenient to walk to the shops and restaurants. Close to the rail for taking the train to Denver, etc. Clay, the owner, was great! He is kind and polite. The Keurig wasn’t working. I asked him for a cup of coffee and he brought me coffee 2 days in a row. I will definitely stay again when visiting my son.

This carriage house is a perfect place to stay. We were in town for only 1 night and barely used the house. Like new everywhere. We used the laundry facilities, they worked great. Bed was very comfortable and we slept well. Bathroom was also very good, shower worked great. Very nice kitchen. Very quiet aera easy parking.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 nights and 5 days at this cozy carriage cottage. It certainly lived up to it's name, cozy. We couldn't have asked for anything more. Absolutely loved the private outdoor sitting area..what a great space to relax. It is definitely a little home away from home. We especially loved it's central location to so many attractions i.e. Olde Town Arvada, Denver, Boulder, Golden, Red Rocks, etc... We highly recommend this property and we look forward to coming back again.

Perfect Place in Arvada!

We stayed here for a week in late June 2025 and will definitely stay again next time we are in town! We had a great stay! It's walking distance to Olde Town Arvada which has tons of restaurants and shops & a farmers market the Sunday we were there. The Olde Town train stop is so easy to take into Denver. There are several parks very close by. It was easy for us to work remotely in the space, the kitchen had the amenities we needed, the place was very clean, quiet, private & plenty of parking space. It's on a nice block, which also felt very safe. We went on daily walks and runs all around the surrounding areas and neighborhoods. The owner was accessible, friendly & helpful, and his dog Frank is adorable. We could not have found a more perfect place to "live" in Arvada for a week while hiking, vacationing, visiting with friends and family & seeing the sights in and around Denver-Boulder-Golden!

Retreat from busy schedule

The Cozy Carriage House met our expectations as a place to retreat from the busy days of the conference we were attending. It was cool and quiet, tucked in the back of a property, nestled in the trees and flowers. Bed was comfortable. The unit is cooled with a swamp cooler which worked, but not as quickly as an air conditioner. Bathroom needed a few more places to hang towels and more space to place our toiletries. Kitchen was adequate and stocked with the basics. A suitcase stand or two would have been nice. The keyless door deadbolt lock took a little bit of jiggling to unlock and lock. Washer and dryer were nice to have. The host was very generous in allowing us to check in early and park our vehicle in the driveway. He responded to our requests in a timely way. We would recommend this place to stay in the Arvada, Colorado area
