“I came to hike Kinder scout. Immediately I was taken care of and brought to my room. Room was lovely, great bed, bath tub, all the service one would need. There was a quizz evening but it never got noisy and I had a good night's sleep. In the morning I was served a tasty breakfast by the loveliest people I met during my trip. “The host was very welcoming and immediately made me feel at home. Breakfast had lots of choices for different appetites. My room was lovely with a fan for the heat, plenty of tea, coffee, etc. and a powerful shower. All in all a great place to visit.”

“Really beautiful property with a character. Parking available in front of property. Super clean and room was good size. No tea making in room but David is happy to provide at any time. Breakfast was freshly made and was delicious. Especially liked home made marmalade. Walking distance to a pub and an Indian restaurant. Walking trails nearby. “We had a very enjoyable two-night stay at Sheriff Lodge. The owner accommodated our early check in, which was very kind of her. Throughout our stay we had good conversations with the owner, who was a lively lady. Room was nicely decorated. The bed very comfortable and the room/bathroom exceptionally clean.
