“We had 25 of us from all age groups staying there for a wedding that was nearby. This property had everything that we needed. We were able to cook large meals in the spacious kitchen. There were plenty of activities to keep the kids busy. Every room was clean, comfortable and well furnished. We will definitely be looking at this property again for future gatherings.”

“The house and location are beautiful. Had everything we needed to entertain the whole family. The kitchen was nicely equipped with all the necessities for cooking any kind of meal. All the water toys were great! We swam, paddle boarded, kayaked and the lily pad was loved by the kids. ”

“Absolutely beautiful location overlooking the stream. Waking up to the sound of it and finishing the day around the fire pit made the days seem long and lazy. The beds were comfortable and plenty of room for two couples and a toddler. The master bedroom leads out to the back porch. We slept with the sliding glass door open and fell asleep to the sounds of nature. Kitchen was well stocked with everything to cook meals. Even had a crockpot and blender. We didn’t use the hot tub, but did run the...

“OFF THE GRID. 1 mile driveway leads to your own personal mountain cottage right next to a beautiful creek with three waterfalls house is well appointed even some extra kitchen items that were super helpful during our stay. Driving back out to the grocery store is a solid 45 minutes thank you so much for the coffee filters, salt and pepper, extra seasonings, no dishwasher, except for yours truly, but all other kitchen appliances provided were amazing. Bidets in both bathrooms should be mentioned...

“We’ve been coming to Bally K cottage twice a year for past few years. It’s an easy, relaxing and quiet location. The owners are great to work with. Restaurants and grocery stores 10 mins away. Easy to check-in and out. Great access to the lake and dock fishing. Comfortable , home atmosphere. The grand kids come for a day and stay in the water the whole time. Paddle boards, kayaks and life vests are available. We will be back.”

“Beautiful property, host was great. Very much pet friendly. We had an amazing stay it was so relaxing. The WiFi never had an issue but cell service is non existent lol. You can hear the stream as soon as you get out of your car, definitely would recommend!”

"Otroligt vänlig och hjälpsam receptionist som direkt fick oss att känna oss välkomna. Barnen fick ta så mycket popcorn de ville, det fanns en hel popcorn vagn. Rummet var ganska lyhört, men vi sov bara en natt så det var okej. Området kändes säkert och lugnt trots att det fanns många affärer och restauranger i närheten. Smidigt att ta sig till med bil. Bra och säker parkering. Skulle absolut bo här igen om vi är i Hickory. Vi hann inte testa poolen på grund av regnoväder."
