“Great house for our family group of 12. The kitchens were well stocked for cooking, which we did a lot of. The house was very comfortably furnished. It was easy to gather as a large group in the family room or dining room, but also lots of space to be by one's self. The last morning of our stay, we all ended up in the front room just talking before we left.”

“Relaxing way to spend a weekend. Condo is directly on the Mississippi River. We were there to check out the eagles. Saw many right outside our door. We were in walking distance to restaurants, small shops and the National Eagle Center. Condo was very comfortable. Enjoyed the many upgrades. Owner did a nice job communicating. The checkin process was seamless. ”

“My granddaughter and I stayed one night recently when we came to see Laura Ignalls birthplace. The tiny Alden house was perfect for us. It was clean, bed was comfortable and what I always like it had a ceiling fan.Chuck,Elan, Oscar and the chickens were great hosts. “Very nice and large cabin. Wonderful screened in porch. Unfortunately I didn’t get to use all the amenities- but I’ll rent again hopefully in the fall. If you have a boat- the launch is nearby! ”

You can hike to the state park from the cabin (3.5 miles to point no point) We Kayaked, Hiked and even did a winery tour at Villa Bellezza in Pepin. Our Host was conscientious and helpful. On our first night we blew a fuse and the refrigerator was out, Randy came over at 7:30 the next morning with a bag of ice (in case he couldn't mend the fridge) and even some of his homemade maple syrup. “It was as great as advertised! There was plenty of space and sleeping arrangements for all 12 of us to sleep comfortably. Karen was kind and clear about check-in and check-out instructions. The pool and back patio made it tough to want to stay in each day/night instead of enjoying the EC area. Thanks again for the stay!”
