“We stayed here because I was working in Cedar Falls and in Ames and this was a good halfway point. It is so peaceful by the river and the host was very accommodating. My husband lives with a physical disability and doesn't handle stairs well; this place has no stairs and was very accessible and worked well for him. Our dog loved it too, plenty of green space. A lovely spot in a small town, one of our favorite stops. Thank You!”

“Our family stayed here during a hot weekend in July and really enjoyed this house. Plenty of room, clean, easy check-in, and conveniently located to other properties other family members had reserved. We would stay here again and recommend it .”

“This place was fantastic. We came to Ames/Des Moines for the National Senior Games. The location is terrific. We could make it to the Iowa State Campus in minutes. The neighborhood is quiet and clean. The home is wonderful. The beds are comfortable, there is plenty of room, the kitchen is really well stocked with plates, utensils, pots and pans. It was nice to be able to use the garage. Kevin was very available and had excellent communication with us. I would highly recommend staying...

“What a nice place! Lots of the little things were handy and made our travels easier and comfortable. Well outfitted kitchen lots of space in the the house overall. Deer , fox, and other wildlife to watch in the mornings and evenings. Will stay again if we are in Ames. ”

“From communicating about the property and our access of it, Zack made it easy for us to settle into the family weekend together. Clean, comfortable and enough space for our party of 14 to play well and sleep well. Love the heated pool...everything in the kitchen we needed for cooking breakfast. One of the best we've enjoyed over the years. We also took advantage of renting the family "ranch area" for 4 hours for fun and burgers and toasted marshmallows.
