“An excellent property with amazing views. It had everything we needed, fully equiped kitchen and a clean shower. The TV in the lounge has a number of apps downloaded and the outdoor area has a table, chairs and a barbecue. We loved using the hot tub and Woolacombe is only a short walk away.”

“The lodge was perfect for us (5 in total). It was very well furnished (very comfortable beds and settee) and the kitchen had all the utensils needed. The owner was very quick to answer our messages. The lodge is very well positioned to go onto the coast path east and west - only 10 or 15 mins walk to it on lanes that are limited to 20 or 30 mph.
The lodge is also only 15 mins drive to Salcombe, with an easy long stay car park. The owner recommended the Salcombe crab fest, which was a great day...

“We would not visit Dartmouth again due to the difficulty parking. The Park and Ride was a nightmare, we cannot believe that cards were not acceptable and the parking app was problematic. In the chalet the seating opposite the TV was extremely uncomfortable. We would have appreciated instructions on how to work the electric oven as we are used to gas cooking. Otherwise very well equipped.”

“We were disappointed that there was no coastal path or pavements to walk into Dartmouth, we had to get taxi’s in and out (highly recommend Mickey’s taxi - helpful, friendly and reasonable prices). Curtain track broken. The bedrooms were small though the beds were comfortable. Bathroom was spacious and modern. Kitchen modern with all facilities. Living area could be updated. There was only one fan, we visited during the heatwave and struggled, would be good to have one per room.”

“House was absolutely lovely. My issue was with the agents. We were told off for using the hot tub, apparently we were told not to use it in some form of communication which I didn’t see. Nothing mentioned in the guest book. The listing was all about the hot tub! I repeated an issue with the lack of rubbish collection and a toilet issue no response then a sudden panicked call to ask where I was and why I hadn’t left a key. Again the agents disorgasation blamed on me! Finally I was offered a 50...
