“Great little village. Local pub very friendly and good food. Shops within walking distance and also very friendly. Beautiful cottage with up to date appliances. Parking a challenge ! Overall lovely place.”

“The accommodation was extremely clean and had everything there that you might need. The hot tub was clean, warm and ready to use straight away. The kitchen was well equipped to include extra bin bags and dishwasher tablets. The complimentary wine, croissants, milk, juice, and water etc, was a great touch, too. There was nothing to fault, I definitely would recommend staying here!!”

Louise was a fantastic host; great communication, met us on arrival for tour of the house (also very kindly left us nice bottle of wine, crisps and a large carrot cake from the local bakery on the dining table, as well as fresh milk and eggs in the fridge!). “A clean and well looked after property. Super to be able to sit outside of an evening and watch the activity on the river. Enjoyed meals at both of the local pubs. Plenty to do round and about.”

“We rented for 4 nights for the sole purpose of getting away while work was being done in our house, so it was not a planned holiday. The old cow shed was perfect for a couple, everything you could want was there. It was warm comfortable and well equipped. Despite the snow and rain (early March) we explored Suffolk and had a lovely time. Nice pub in the village and another close by on the main A140.”

“The property was lovely suited our requirements as it had a ground floor bedroom, no need to go upstairs. Had everything we required. Lovely kitchen and bathroom. The only downside was it had not be cleaned properly, worksurfaces still had food debris and both sofas needed a vacuum over, plus they were stained. Would certainly recommend the house.”
