"All of the staff was really nice and caring. Made us feel really welcome. We would especially like to thank the receptionist Carlotta and the manager Anthony! They were really nice and even arranged a little surprise for us. We really appreciated the effort and they made a really good impression on us. They gave us great advice on where to go and it made the stay even more pleasant. The breakfast was great and the view amazing! The hotel has free coffee in lobby during the morning and free drinks in the afternoon, which is a really nice touch. There is also free shuttle to bough the airport, Arrowtown and a vineyard (we do recommend a trip there). When it comes to the hotels condition, it is a bit dated. The common areas aren’t in the best shape, but it is under construction. It was a little shame that we didn’t know that the pool wasn’t going to be available during our stay, since we did count on using it. Also the renovation was a bit disturbing. We would have given the hotel a little lower grading, if it wasn’t for the lovely staff. "
