“Lovely little cottage, really clean & with nice touches- dog bowls & bed, children’s books, scented candles, local guide books. Fully equipped & sparkling clean kitchen. Beautiful view from the back garden & situated in a small village around a green. Only issue was that I couldn’t turn down the heating except by turning the (very modern) boiler off. Useful to have instructions on how to do this - also a printed (not just online) manual for the house. Lovely place & I would go again.”

“We had a lovely stay in Rosebank Cottage. Very central location and the property was clean and tidy. The website doesn’t mention that a deposit needs to be paid beforehand so one thing to consider if you’re staying.”

“First impressions not good due to long grass and weeds against front wall and do No freezer box in fridge. We weren’t expecting a freezer compartment as not listed. Only one bedside lamp in main bedroom Only comfortable seats for three people in sitting room. Not a problem for us two Second bedroom inadequate for another couple no storage, again no problem for us. Couldn’t use allocated parking due to steep steps to house having no handrail QR info ok for us but many older people would be...

“1. Getting difficult to.find the exact location of property, its helpful if mentioned the building name. 2.Whole night struggled to run the heating but didnt work survived without heating. 3. Wifi id provided not available in the premises. ”

“Overall a great property in a great location within the village- plenty of space for us all and the kitchen area was great social area for us all plenty of storage We were lucky with the weather so was nice sitting out in our little space outside!”

“Very well equipped accommodation. Great base for exploring the area. Beamish museum very close and well worth a visit. Also close enough to visit Newcastle, can get metro so don't have to drive in, Hadrians wall, Derwent water. Lot of places to visit. Good location if doing Great North Run.”

“Property was lovely. Everything we needed for stay. Plenty plates, glasses and utensils in kitchen. Lots of room in lounge for us all. Bedrooms comfy and bathrooms lovely too with towels and nice hand wash. Would recommend to family and friends and definitely be back again soon.”

Great size accommodation and with modern kitchen and bathroom making staying here great. Located close to mainly areas, Beamish, Newcastle, Durham etc. Can’t recommend this place enough a lovely cozy warm stay.”
