“The Barn is a great place for a family gathering. We had 6 adults and 5 children in the house - and it didn't feel at all crowded. We found lots to see and do in the surrounding area and, when it did rain, there were games and pastimes in the house to keep us occupied. The kitchen was well equipped and the accommodation well organised. Just one small point; the TVs are advertised as smart TVs which normally means they are connected to the internet and have access to iPlayer, Netflix and so on....

“The Corn Store was just as the pictures showed. It’s a pretty Cottage in a peaceful location with many local amenities. We only had a few days but felt we had seen and done a lot. The cottage itself was very comfortable, the dining area sat five of us around the kitchen table and there were plenty of comfy chairs in the sitting area for after supper. We used the garden table on the back terrace for tea one day and it was a real sun trap. The bathroom to bedroom ratio was excellent and all beds...

“Really enjoyed our time at the Little Cow House. Starting with the very warm welcome from our lovely hosts and delicious welcoming homemade cake. The house is very nicely furnished, immaculately clean and very well equipped, and is warm and cosy; you can hear the river rushing in the valley below and the rooms have lovely views of trees and fields. Would like to come back and visit again in the summer to really make the mot of the great walks and sights in the area.”
