About this space
Reconnect with nature with two separate dwellings on 3 acres with creek to relax, play, swim, float or fish. There are fire pits, a grill at the Tiny and an outdoor kitchen on the camper. You can sleep 4 in the Tiny and 6 in the camper (maybe more if they are small children). When you rent both places together you can also get approval for tent camping at the site or by the creek.

The space
Tiny House and Camper are located on two lots covering 3 acres on a private creek. If children are guests they should be accompanied by a parent or guardian in each dwelling.

We have floats available for hanging out in the creek. Swimming and floating are at your own risk and you should make your water decisions based on you and your family and friends capabilities and the water level and speed at the time of your stay. Mountaintown Creek flow and depth varies based on rainfall.

If you wish to have some guests stay in tents on the property you can do so with approval in advance. We do not provide tents or any bedding.

Fishing is permitted without a license because these are private waters and as a guest have my permission to fish on my property. Please pay attention to where the property line begins and ends. We have a couple of fishing rods we leave at the Tiny but the condition of them is subject to the last guest who used them. Definitely bring some hooks and sinkers and whatever bait you want to use. There are trout in the stream but no guarantee they will be our property. They move with water levels. Sometimes we are the beneficiaries of what is stocked up stream from us and sometimes we are helping out the folks downstream. It's fishing - not guaranteed catching. We will stock the creek for you for $300 and even let you help put the fish in but we require advance notice to get this scheduled. If you want to learn to fly fish we can also schedule a lesson on the creek for two people - all gear included - 4 hours - $500. Again, we are subject to guide availability so book early and communicate to me if this is something you want.
Guest access
The Tiny has an electronic door lock and the Camper has a key in a lockbox. You will be able to check yourself in. There is a gate that remains closed when property is unoccupied. The electronic gate does not work. There is a carabiner and a chain that holds the gate closed. You may leave it open or shut as you please while you are there but please chain it back when you check out.

The property is on a single lane well maintained county road. Please drive slowly especially around curves. Be prepared to pull over to let someone by or back up if needed. Most places that works really well but there is a spot or too where it might be too tight for two vehicles to pass. You are in a very quiet rural setting but only 15 minutes from downtown Ellijay.
Other things to note
Washer and Dryer are in Tiny. There is no washer or dryer in Camper.
