We are two retired women traveling alone who felt safe and comfortable in this home. While the outside is still showing the need for clean-up and repairs (a common problem for small businesses because big business and deep pockets get attention first) from the most recent hurricane damage. The inside of the rental home is beautiful, clean and inviting. The home sits 3 blocks away from a grocery and pharmacy. it was better for us to drive there just as it was to other nearby places like the weekly flea market in downtown historical Englewood. While the home isn’t on a beach it is within driving distance to the beaches and great dining. The house has most amenities you’ll need but if there is something you didn’t bring or the house doesn’t have, there are great thrift stores in the area that benefit the homeless, animals or other great causes that can save you money. The owners of the property are very good to work with and do everything they can to make your stay a good experience. The location has an attached garage that has been converted to an efficiency rental and there is a tiny house behind the home, either can be rented. We’d stay here again and are planning for our next visit!
