“Ingen hiss.. och väldigt jobbiga trappor.. korten avmagnitiserades varje dag så man fick gå upp och ner hela tiden.. Annars så var det väldigt centralt i Amsterdam nära till allt. ”

“The location was really good but The Hotel was not clean. Old and dirty towels and sticky floors etc. There was no elevator and The stairs were narrow and small. Our room had one small lamp and only one power outlet, and The bed was really small. The straff and The Hotel was good though, and also The wifi. ”

“I was pleasantly surprised because it's a budget hotel, but you get breakfast at the cafe next door. Hick's pancake was among the best I've tasted. So the thing about serving old cheese is a thing of the past I would guess. For those who are only going to sleep, this is a good place.”

“The stairs were not the best. I don’t mind to walk up a couple of stairs but these were to steep. The location is great, close to the central station and Red Light. ”

“So if you're into the museums around Museumplein the location is great. There are lots of trams passing by as well so it's easy to get around. Google Maps + GVB 24h pass does the trick for getting anywhere in Amsterdam. So apart from the location the hostel is what you pay for. It's ranked amongst the cheapest and it's pretty basic. I had stayed here 3 years ago and it was basically identical. Hotel receptionist (perhaps owner?) was very nice to me and friendly even if not all hostel guests...

“The rooms where nice and clean but minimalistic in interior. As a warning to other travelers, the check in opens at 2 p.m and the hotel hostes mentioned a baggage limit, however our 4 bags seemed to be ok. The hotel is in walking distance of most attractions.”

“I den stora helheten var det ett bra boende. Det jag kan klaga över är frukosten. Den var inte alls bra. Att bli serverad mackor med jordnötssmör, sylt och nutella som enda pålägg är inte bra. Hade jag fått önska hade jag velat ha andra sorters pålägg, kanske juice eller något också”

“Location and breakfast exilent, but the hotel is rather out of date. Beds were like hammocks, there were no ventilation and no AC, wc and shower very small and in corridors. Staying in 4 th floor as we did you have to walk very steep steps all the way up. Not for old people or unfit. If you are lucky to get a room with view you probably have to stand a lot of noise from busses, trams and drunk persons screaming all the night.”

“For this type of accomondation it was better than expected. The personal service was excellent as well as the breakfast, made with love and care. Walking distance from rail way station and a variaty of activities (February).”

“Bra prisvärt hotell som ligger med gångavstånd till det mesta. Nära till Pijp och nära till Centrum. Ligger i ett tyst område så man stördes inte av oljud på nätterna. Enda är om ni bokar detta hotell kika en extra gång i er säng. Jag blev uppäten av någon form av loppa eller liknande. fick stora bölder på halva kroppen. När jag poängterade detta för receptionen fick jag bara ett tack för info tillbaka. ”
