“Pros: About 10 min walk from Mita station, super clean, wide and comfy 1 person bed, easy self check-in. Cons: There is no lockers! You will have to constantly bring your valuables with you. The shared area is noisy (fan noise?) and has a sterile atmosphere. Not the place to meet other travelers. ”

Läget är spännande, mitt i allt liv i Shinjuku men man störs inte av något ljud. Väldigt trevlig och bra personal men räkna inte med att de kan engelska mer än några ord!”

“I thought it was ok for the price. Facilities were extremely clean and other guests were respectful of others. As a woman traveling by herself, I felt safe staying there overnight. It was my first stay at a capsule hotel and I wish I would have gotten more guidance from the staff when I first checked in. Staff did not speak English (which is fine, you're in Japan after all!) but was not necessarily welcoming or friendly when I was trying to ask questions. I felt like I was bothering them, but...

“Staff are friendly and informative. The cafe is excellent. The building is dated but clean. A bit hard get up to some of the pod so ask ahead of time via email to get the lower bunker. It is good and affordable alternative if you only want a place to sleep at the end of your day.”

“Tyckte det var ett trevligt ställe på sitt sätt. Allrum med sköna fotöljer och bastu och bad som var najs. Det var helt ok kapslar, lite varmt inne i och icke fungerande tv men det störde inte jag mig på. Neg: rökning var tillåten i allrummet.”

In general a very friendly atmosphere with lot's of other backpackers hanging out together in the common room, sharing their experience. Would definitely recommend if you are looking to meet other people.”

“I stayed here for a week in February and I would likely stay here again - just knowing that the breakfast that is supposed to be included is a stack of Starbucks cards, $1,000 yen for each night you're staying. The shared dorm featured guests of all ages, not just the college/party aged crowd, and there was a mix of foreign tourists as well as locals in the 6-bunk landing where my top bunk was. Laundry worked well - make sure to bring your own detergent, there is none available in the laundry...
