“Excellent facilities. Stayed here twice, specifically to enjoy the spa packages on offer, what a lovely way to relax. “Was sadly only there for 1 night as a place to crash after a nearby wedding. The place was lovely, the staff couldn't of been any kinder and accommodating. Breakfast was lovely. Would drive the 6hrs to come back for a few days stay for sure.”

Gripe for the superior was about a half an hour to run a bath and no Wi-Fi :( possibly due to location at the back of the hotel. We were there for a family 90 th nearby so it was a great opportunity to stay. Accrington was £6 in an uber. Disappointing though to have to pay a tenner if you want to use the pool :( gym free mind.

"The only reason for the overall rating was the absence of WiFi in my room. The staff was very helpful and let me use the staff WiFi. The problem was resolved, but it returned as soon as I returned to my room. I had to go to the nearby McD in order to check emails, etc. In addition, the check-in was problematic as the lodge did not have a credit card reader which led to the lodge dismissing my card. The explanation from the lodge was something that the card issuer had never heard about when I checked with them when I got home. Otherwise, the location and nearby pub were great, especially if you plan to see Blackburn Rovers. Their home ground is just 5 min off. Hopefully, this rating will lead to an improved WiFi access at the lodge."
