“Stayed in one of the top floor rooms with a breathtaking view of daring harbour. Classic high end hotel furniture and room style. However the restaurant/bar area could use a bit of work. Not very good value for breakfast and the bar are is run down when you scratch the surface. Paintings hanging in different heights and bar service in the bar. Doors of bathroom needs paint and some love. ”

Lots of restaurants and a big supermarket just minutes away by foot, Mascot Station in the same area as the restaurants. If the price point is right, I would recommend staying here and commuting to the city if you are a tourist. A plus for room card being required to access the lifts as the reception is right down...

“Our stay at the Sheraton (couple with a 6yo) was fantastic! Can’t wait to go back. Our highlight was the buffet breakfast. Huge variety, barista-made coffee, made to order omelette station, fresh juice… the list goes on! A very pleasant way to start the day. We also loved the pool and gym area, complete with sauna, spa bath and steam room. The room itself was spacious, clean and had a luxury feel. “All in all a great stay, and would stay again. However, I strongly recommend prepaying when booking if possible. The reception had seperate machines for debit and credit cards and neither would accept any of our debit Visa or Mastercard. Never happened to us in Australia or elsewhere before. Staff were patient and got it sorted after a lot of tries.”
