âWe arrived to the beautiful small town of Jacksonville, OR and was very welcomed by the staff at the front desk of Wine Country inn.
The room was big, clean and well maintained. The bed was comfy.
The front desk staff gave us some good tips and a map to the city center which was a beautiful old small town.
We definitely advise people to go here instead of Ashland, this place is much more âdown-to-earthââ
âMy husband and I spent the weekend at the Orth house. We had tickets to a night at the Brit and wanted to stay within walking distance. We loved this hideaway with its old world charm, lovely wine and even a ghost story. We were also able to walk all over town and didnât need to drive for 2 days. Highly recommend!â
âSuper friendly staff from the front desk and the dining room! Clean common areas and very clean room and bath. We arrived at 9:00pm and were happy the restaurant was open. Very kind staff, decent food and drinks and a pleasant atmosphere to relax after a long day on the road. We would definitely make Compass by Margaritaville a stopping point mid-way between Seattle and San Fran to visit our kids!â
âThis hotel seems to be relatively new, so the new build smell was nice to walk in to. The staff is courteous and eager to help. Breakfast had a bunch of options and was decent, overall. Beds were small, but comfortable enough. They have convenient Tesla and EV charging on site at no additional charge. Huge feature and very much appreciated! â
âClean and modern. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was small but it has everything you need for an overnight stay. Easy to get to the airport and several dining options available nearby. Front desk was closed when we checked out so had to text when we left. I would definitely recommend. â
