“We try to stay here whenever we're in Saffron Walden, visiting family. We are very pleased with the property and the helpfulness of the owner and housekeeper. My only word of caution to prospective guests is that the narrow, winding staircase is not suitable for people with mobility issues, but that would be my only real reservation.”

“The property is basically a garden shed with basic amenities. There were stains on the floor and walls, only one knife one spoke one fork and one teaspoon and the cups, plates hadn’t been washed and were sticky, plus there were no bowls just plates! On the first night I complained about the smell in the flat which didn’t really get sorted and the next morning we had our first showers in the room. This was a huge problem as it only had hot water for 20 seconds; we were just so disappointed. After...

“The Old Reading Rooms in Linton was a great stay. The pictures and description does not do it justice. It was larger than we expected. There is plenty of seating and different areas within the living room. I was slightly nervous about the parking, but we literally parked on the street in front of the cottage every day. The kitchen is quite large and well appointed. Being from America, we really appreciated the large bathroom with separate tub and shower as well as separate powder room...
