Welcome to La Joya Oasis - your private tropical hideaway just minutes from the beach, airport, and Wilton Drive. Stroll along orchid-lined garden paths, unwind beneath swaying palms, and enjoy year-round outdoor living in our heated pool and covered lanai.
This peaceful 2-bedroom apartment offers hotel-quality bedding, fast Wi-Fi, a fully equipped kitchen, and dedicated workspace — perfect for couples, friends, travel nurses, snowbirds, or remote workers looking for a relaxing Florida escape. An eco-friendly Level-2 EV charger is available on-site.

The Space:
This apartment rental is private, complete with a separate entrance and dedicated parking. It adjoins the owner and host living area, which is also private and separate, under the same roof. The space is a beautiful contemporary and open layout. There are granite countertops & stainless-steel appliances in the kitchen. Throughout the home, you will find hardwood floors as well as mosaic-tile flooring in the bathroom. The lanai area is tiled with travertine pavers.
For everyone's privacy, this two bedroom one bath rental unit is separated from the owner host's living space by a set of interlocking French doors. These doors, which include sound-dampening features, lock securely on both the owner & guest sides .
Pool and Lanai:
Outdoor living is what we do best here at La Joya Oasis. The backyard features a secluded heated pool surrounded by lush green palms, tropical trees, colorful flowers & a myriad of other plants. Travertine pool decking completely encircles the pool which includes an outdoor dining area with sun loungers. The covered lanai includes an additional outdoor seating area. The lanai is attached to the house.
Kitchen:
We offer stainless-steel appliances, granite countertops, a 12-cup drip coffee maker, individual Keurig machine, toaster, and microwave. Basic cookware including pots and pans, dishes, glasses, coffee mugs, and cooking utensils are also included. Within this large kitchen there is a dedicated workspace for laptops complete with a full-sized monitor & docking station.
Living Room:
Standard size fabric covered sofa & matching ottoman, leather armchair, and wall-mounted Roku TV with streaming services available for subscribers.
Bedrooms:
1st Bedroom - Includes queen size bed, 32” wall-mounted TV with RoKu (streaming services available for subscribers) and a modern-style shelf for storage. This room also includes a standard-sized closet. A printer for guest use is located on the dresser inside this room.
2nd Bedroom - Renovated in January of 2025. This room is located next door to the 1st bedroom. The completed renovation of the room includes a queen size bed, 43" Roku TV, nightstand, and a dresser for storage. The closet in this room is reserved for owner use only.
All Bedrooms Include:
- 100% cotton hotel quality bedding
- Individual climate control
- Room-darkening plantation-style blinds
- Clean towels & washcloths on arrival
Bathroom - This home features a full-size bath with shower and tub. There is a vanity and small wall closet for storage. We provide body wash, shampoo, and conditioner.
Guest Access:
Guests will have full private access to this 2 bedroom 1 bath apartment which includes a kitchen, living room, dining room, and full bathroom. Shared access of the backyard, pool, enclosed lanai and laundry is also included with this rental.
Your privacy is always a top priority while maintaining the grounds of a 5-star property. To those ends, the owner / host is on-site in an adjoining living area which utilizes a separate entrance thru the courtyard & via the east gate on the property. The eastern edge of the property between the house and fence as well as the southernmost portions of the lot are reserved for owner / host use as well as routine maintenance operations. These areas are separated from the house and pool area by bamboo privacy fencing and lush tropical vegetation.
We have two small mixed-breed dogs. Guests might encounter the dogs while outside in a common area. Our dogs are never allowed to roam freely nor enter the private guest apartment.
Other Things to Note
Photo ID & Short Term Rental Agreement:
Pursuant to state and local laws, the primary guest must, at the time of check-in, present a valid & original state or federally issued photo ID. Additionally, the primary guest must sign our Short Term Rental Agreement. Guests must complete a pre-arrival check-in form which requires the primary guest to enter information from their form of ID.
Primary Guest Responsibility:
The primary guest is responsible for all actions and behaviors of all other guests within his or her travel party. This includes full responsibility for any damages caused by any and all members of the travel party as well as any other invitees. If any House Rules are broken by anyone in the travel party or other invitees, the reservation is subject to cancellation without refund and you may be asked to leave.
The primary guest must add all additional guests to the reservation at the time of booking. If after adding additional guests to the reservation, it is determined that any of those guests have received negative reviews from hosts in the past, the entire booking is subject to cancellation at the discretion of the host.
Cancellation & Refund Policies:
We always uphold our cancellation policies as we incur costs regardless of if a guest shows up or not. This is why we have our cancellation policy as it is shown on the listing. Whenever we travel, we always opt for travel insurance. We suggest travel insurance from either the booking platform or externally so neither of us have to worry if anything disrupts your trip.
Early Check-In & Late Check-Out:
We are happy to accommodate early arrivals and late departures when we can, however, we cannot grant them earlier than 24 hours in advance because they are based on availability, and if another guest is checking out or in on that same day. Early Check-In/Late Check-Out are subject to additional fees.
Charging Electric Vehicles (EV Charger):
We offer a level-two electric vehicle charging station which is located on the right-hand side of the driveway. You will need an adapter to charge a Tesla. If you wish to utilize the charger, it must be done between the hours of 9:00pm and 7:00am only. There is no fee to use the charger.

La Joya Tropical Oasis is located in the South Middle River neighborhood of central Fort Lauderdale. Our neighborhood is locally famous for the wild peafowl that roam our streets and urban forests. South Middle River is a vibrant and diverse neighborhood of long-time South Florida residents, members of the LGBTQ community, out of state transplants to Florida, as well as first-generation immigrants from the Caribbean and beyond. La Joya is within biking distance to all the shops, restaurants and nightlife found along "The Drive" in Wilton Manors. A walk to the heart of Wilton Dr would take approximately 25 minutes.
Guests can take advantage of La Joya's central location. The azure blue waters of our world-class beaches can be found approximately 4 miles to the east. Interstate 95 lies roughly 2 miles to the west. Wilton Manors is approximately 1.5 miles to the northeast. Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood Int'l Airport (FLL) is approximately 20 minutes south and Brightline's high-speed train station for downtown Fort Lauderdale is located about 2 miles to the south. Side note - Brightline is an excellent way to travel between the downtowns of Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, and Miami. The new Brightline extension also connects metropolitan South Florida to the Orlando area.
Getting Around:
The property enjoys an excellent location between the beaches to the east and I-95 to the west. Wilton Manors is within walking distance and an easy bike ride away, approximately 1.5 miles to the east. Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood Int'l Airport (FLL) is approximately 20 minutes south of the property. Brightline high-speed train station for Fort Lauderdale is located approximately 2 miles to the south.
