Clean and businesslike hotel close to the airport (5-10 mins depending on trafic). Very kind and serviceminded staff. Room was nice and clean. We travelled with 2 children and 2 extra beds could fit quite easily in our corner room. Nice roof restaurant (does however not serve alcohol). Hotel offeed free wifi, although limited to 3 devices per adult in the room. Hotel arranged for pick-up to and from the airport. it was originally a bit chaotic at the airport before our driver actually arrived. Hotel is located just by the highway to/from the airport. This is good for practical reasons.

We wanted to stay away from known hotel chains and have a Turkish experience and we were looking for a location close to main historical sites since we only had 3 days to explore Istanbul. We were happy with our choice - the location of Armada hotel is perfect - very close to Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque and Topkapi palace. The hotel is clean and beds were comfortable. The terrace is beautiful - with the view of Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque on one side and the sea view on the other side. The staff was pleasant and helpful. They hotel offers very good breakfast and opportunity to have dinner and drinks on the terrace enjoying the view. In addition, there are many options for dining and drinks nearby. We would definitely come back!
