Built in 1900 this duplex apartment has character. Yes, the stairs squeak and the floors crackle when you walk on them. The walls, talk I am certain. Sit on the front porch, take a walk to the city park, or head to a local eatery by foot. Perhaps you like to fish or boat. We have the Ohio river just two blocks away. The upstairs has two large bedrooms that are shotgun style and there is a hideaway bed for one more. Give it a try, but remember it isn’t a new place by any means. It is clean and has wonderful furnishings. It has one bathroom downstairs. Bath and kitchen are brand new September 2021.
The portable bed is downstairs now.

We came for a long weekend at the Mothman Festival. This property is close enough but not too close to the congestion. It is a quaint old building. The water pressure is amazing! Beds were comfy. It was all we needed. Thanks!

Great Stay!

The property was well kept and very comfortable. The owner was easy to communicate with and accomodations were welcoming. The back yard and front porch are perfect for relaxing and we slept great in the comfortable beds. There is a steep stairwell going upstairs to the bedrooms so those that have a hard time with stairs need to be aware. We enjoyed our stay.

House was clean. Close to sights to see and restaurants. Would have been nice to have a modern keurig coffee pot. They supplied pods but old fashioned coffee pot with filters.

The property was a lot bigger and nicer than expected. There was plenty of accommodations for Betty, eating and bathing. It was a great experience. I would stay again.

This is a charming property in a very nice neighborhood. The property was well stocked with all of the amenities. The owner was very easy to reach and very helpful. The only downside was that one of the bedrooms is located in a large area at the top of the stairs with no door or privacy. This would be great if you have kids, but not too great for couples.

Comfortable Basecamp

This property is so cute. While we only needed 1 bedroom, there are 2 more and another bathroom. It is a great place when we bring our family back here. The ice storm was inconvenient but Beth had kitty litter put on the steps. The bed is very comfortable. This is a great space for families.

Easy check in / check out process Very accommodating for our family needs Lots a room for the price Been recently updated with new furnishings The online listing was not accurate due to an unintentional change, but owner got it fixed. It turned out to be a good location close to downtown.
