Excellent location for Yellowstone
My friends live downtown Gardiner and were only four blocks away! Fenced yard was excellent for my dogs. But don’t be surprised if you have Elk sleeping in the yard. Comfortable and homey. In fact, I saw more elk in front of the house than in the Park!

Doorstep of Yellowstone
This was a great little cabin. Very clean, well stocked, easy to work with the host. We are a family of 5 and it was tight sleeping wise, but worked fine for our needs. We would stay here again. The elk in the yard at night is a great bonus.

Location, Location, Location!
Absolutely best located individual cabin in all of Gardiner. Terry is an excellent hostess and very responsive to all messages. Cannot beat the scene of elk feeding in the yard each morning - picture perfect!

Perfect location
This property was perfect for my 3 girls, husband and myself. Every morning there would be a herd of 5 elk in the neighbors yard and that was amazing to see up close. We had a vehicle but the property was located by a bunch of restaurants so it was very walkable to everything we needed. Clean and comfy home with everything included to use if needed, I would definitely rent this place again!

I was looking for a place to stay in Gardiner and this was the perfect place—located very close to the entrance to YNP. Terry was very helpful and was willing to make some adjustments due to a severe snowstorm that I encountered as I was traveling to Gardiner. Will most certainly try to stay here again next time I am in the area.

Great location
The house was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. We could see bison or elk from the front door every day. Close and convenient for visiting Yellowstone and had a dog friendly trail a short drive away. We would stay here again.

This property had everything you need for a comfortable stay close to Yellowstone’s North Entrance. Every supply you could imagine you would need is provided. Washer and dryer a nice plus. Enjoyed seeing the wildlife wander through the yard. Host was great at communicating.

Great little cabin!
We were excited to find a place to stay so close to the North entrance of YNP without having to rent 2 hotel rooms for our family of 5. Cabin was clean and had everything you need when traveling. (The little fan in the bedroom made my husband’s day!) We never ran out of hot water even with all 5 of us showering and the kitchen had literally everything you could need down to a corkscrew & pizza cutter! We walked all over town to grab coffee or dinner; fantastic location! Would stay here again.

Had everything we needed
Great location—you can literally walk to the north entrance of Yellowstone National Park. It was also an easy walk to restaurants and a little grocery store. We saw tons of elk and deer on property. It was a cozy little cabin that had everything we needed. We stayed here for the first part of our Yellowstone trip while exploring the mammoth area and Lamar valley.

Very grandmotherly, comfortable and filled with crochets and plastic flowers. Place is a spacious trailer next to an engine-repair shop and difficult to recognize from the road. Pay close attention to the instructions about how to get there or you will wind up in front of the cemetery a couple of doors down and wonder where Grandma's is.

This was the best equipped VRBO rental we have had the good fortune to stay at. Lots if extras I brought were already in the home- right down to the bedroom fan. Town was small, friendly and complete with resident elk and deer. Definitely recommend this home and owners.

Cute little cabin that had everything you needed. Was in the center of town, but still peaceful. Owners were very nice and welcoming. Washer and dryer was a plus. Loved all the elk outside. Would stay here again when visiting the north entrance if Yellowstone.

Perfect place!
My husband, daughter, mother, and I stayed here this past week and it was the perfect spot for us! So close to the park and everything in town. We had elk and deer right outside every day! The owners had everything you could need there! We used the cooler provided to pack lunch into the park. There were plenty of pots and pans to cook with. Very easy to check in and out!

Super close to Yellowstone
We had a blast. Terry was available as needed and check in and out was super easy. We LOVED seeing the elk in the yard and watching people react to them. We were comfortable, close to the park, and safe. The only drawback is high charges and taxes in Gardiner make it harder to get more for your dollar. Gave a 4 just because location was on a main drag and felt less “cabin” than expected but it was still plenty quiet and did make access to everything easier. Happy with our stay!

We were thrilled to see how close we were to the park entrance. Being right in the heart of town was awesome. We had elk around us nearly every day. What a wonderful stay it was! The market was a few doors down. Just perfect!

The location was really good, but it could be cleaner and better equipped. The sofa bed was broken, the pillows were hard, the blender wasn’t working. They have a good location for getting into the park and a great backyard.

Sorry you feel like that, however you broke the sofa bed and it took me several hours to repair it. You never told me anything about the blender and it is very clean.

I don't think we could have gotten much closer to the north entrance of Yellowstone...charming cottage with all the amenities you would want. Grocery and a few restaurants within walking distance. Saw more elk around the property than in Yellowstone!

Cozy and very convenient to YNP
The house is cozy and rustic, and decorated with a bear theme. We stayed a week. The house is not modern, but it was clean and reasonably well maintained. There was an elk in the small yard a couple of days and a rabbit living under the house. The room heaters worked great - we didn't use the A/C. It was just my wife and and I, so we also didn't use the fold-up bed. The kitchen was well-stocked with utensils and supplies. The location is absolutely perfect for access to Mammoth and YNP's northern ranges. Mama Terry was helpful and very quick in responding to communications. The only negative my wife pointed out were some old opened food packages in the cupboard, including some that said to be refrigerated. It was a very good place to stay for a week.

Great Downtown Property
This property is a lovely "downtown" Gardiner cabin. My wife and I had a wonderful time here and would definitely recommend it. It is clean, check in is easy, and it is just about walking distance to the north entrance of Yellowstone! As a bonus, it seems like Elk frequent this area: my wife and I woke up to Elk in the yard next door every morning.
