Daydreamers Delight

The cabin was great. We had a great time. The upper floor shower leaked into the master bedroom closet. So, we just didn't use that shower. Otherwise the cabin was fine.

Such A Shame

This property could have been so great but sadly it wasn’t. The filth was unbelievable, many things were in disrepair, it was not adequately stocked, the hot tub leaked profusely and the water was too low to use. We did not have sheets, blankets, or towels. The staff was incredibly rude and I still have not received a call from management as I was promised. It was a very big disappointment for me and my family.

Oh boy…

The photos made this cabin look adorable, quiet and wonderful; but it was a sticky mess and loud. The blinds were destroyed in the bottom floor and would not shut in the master bedroom, so no privacy. The master was useless so nobody in our group would sleep there. Upstairs there was no bedspread on the king bed. So we called and let the office know about it, no problem… they would be there in 4hrs. That was at about 4pm and the maintenance guy showed up at 11:10pm while we were asleep! At least he knocked! The hot tub leaks on to the deck below, the first floor deck had the hot tub, and some carpeted pet steps(?) in case one wants to jump after seeing what they are paying for… and the top deck with the gorgeous swing came with a marijuana joint to enhance the experience. Glad my grandchildren didn’t find that first! Uh… we didn’t touch it though. Let’s see…. Oh! The neighbors had a blast starting at dusk lasting til wee hours every night. There was no way we were going to call the office on them… who knows… they may have a gun. The fold out bed downstairs came with a pair of fleece pj bottoms, dirty sheets… tvs , 2 out of three, were either not working or barely responsive to remote. The shower downstairs was the cleanest however the cold doesn’t work, so be ready for a scalding hot shower. The pluses? Location to Dollywood was great…. The office crew couldn’t be nicer. We had several maintenance calls; but we canceled some because we didn’t want them coming while we were out… so that’s on us. This cabin could be spectacular like the photos if it were properly cared for. Oh! Don’t expect a grill either… probably due to liability and bear, all it is was a tiny thing on a post out front. The first thing I noticed and thought…. Oh boy….

An overall good vacation but the cabin could've been better

The cabin is located in a great location and has awesome views. There was a problem with the ac, the cabin never got below 76 degrees, it had a water leak from the 2nd floor to the first floor, when we arrived we were short on linens and the office had a limited supply. I 'm sure we just caught them at a bad time and a few things had slipped through the cracks. The staff was extremely nice and helped as much as they could. We were still blessed enough to have a great time even though there were a few things wrong with the cabin.
