Always feels like home
This is now our 5th stay at Seas the Day. We love the location close to shops and beach and central to othe great places on the Gold Coast. We love the property which is always presented very well, clean and tidy and small updates each time we have stayed. We can also bring our little furry friends. We will definitely back again. Great Pet friendly stay in Tugan
We had a great stay at Marie's place. We stayed for an extended period of time with our 5 month old baby and golden retriever. The property was very clean with a well equipped kitchen. A short walk across the highway to the beach and cafes of Tugan. Would recommend Marie's place to people travelling with dogs and would stay again. Thanks for having us Marie! :)

Such a great find!
This house was immaculate, modern inside and so very comfortable. They have gone over and beyond to supply so many of the essentials that you don’t want to buy for a 2 day stay! A minor point was that the deck faces a McDonalds drive through but our cocker spaniel thought this was very entertaining so she was happy! A lovely, clean, modern home walking distance to Tugun beach.

Perfect holiday
Loved staying at this property it was so comfortable we didn’t want to leave. Very close to the beach and nice cafes. There is a IGA close by no need to use you car if you don’t want to. There is always a nice breeze it was very dog friendly. The couple who live in the granny flat out the back( Allan and Joan) are really nice and helpful. We will definitely be back.

Fabulous getaway
Second time at this property with our parents and their little dog. Marie’s place is always neat, tidy and clean. Tastefully decorated with everything you need for your stay. Great location central to the Gold Coast and Coolangatta. Lovely cafes and beach just steps away. Will definitely be back!

Great stay
Lovely, large and highly functional house that is extremely well appointed with pantry and other amenities. Love the tasteful decorative touches. A DVD player and potato masher would be good to include but it was perfect for us including our Labrador.

Would highly recommend staying here. A short walk to the beach, this lovely home had everything we needed. This house (as stated) is in the flight path so If you don’t like or handle noise early in the morning then it probably isn’t for you. However we barely noticed it as we were too busy out doing all the Tugun and QLD has to offer. We loved coming back “home” and relaxing in between. We loved the extra touches (bathroom items/necessities) Thanks so much Marie

House is nice, well presented and comfortable.
The view of a construction site was disappointing, I was hoping for a beach view. The house being on the flight path was not expected and annoying when home. Cannot fault the house, we felt right at home. Placement was great as the major roads were close by. Not that you had any control but the weather was terrible and hugely impacted on our holiday. Thank you Marie for the use of your house.

We loved our stay. The house was clean, modern and well sized. Joan and Alan were friendly and helpful. The property is within walking distance to the beach and a number of cafes as well as shops, supermarket, pharmacy and post office. As it is close to the airport so you will hear the planes as they come into land but honestly it isn’t a big deal (there is a curfew so you don’t hear them late at night) and it didn’t worry or wake our 7 month old and 3 year old. We would definitely stay again!

Newly renovated, great location if you're without a car!
Marie was extremely prompt in her response, as this was last minute accommodation that we were booking. Amazing that this property is pet friendly (proved difficult to find in the Gold Coast), however as this property has just been renovated, there is no pet friendly fencing as of yet. I think Marie is planning on getting this installed. Everything was great. The only constructive feedback I could give is that we struggled without any air conditioning, being guests from Sydney, I think in Queensland heat you need air con. Being close to the airport was a great location, however at times it felt like the roof of the property was the runway as they were coming into land it could be quite noisy (I completely understand this is beyond Marie's control!) Positive from this, due to its location you could easily get around without a car. One last thing I would suggest for privacy reasons is putting a blind or shutters across the main entrance door as at times it felt like everybody walking past could see in. Overall, a great stay and Marie was a great communicator. I initially enquired about a different property to Marie's and did not get a response until 23:00 the night I wanted to arrive, with the host explaining that she doesn't take anything less than a 5 night stay, which she forgets to make clear on her advertisement. I was extremely grateful of Marie to get back to me so quickly, promptness means everything and could be the difference between gaining a booking, or in this case for the other property, loosing a booking. Thank you for everything Marie.
