Moxy York
We stayed for three nights in December. Great central location. Housekeeping poor they didn’t make the bed once for the whole stay. Also give the evening bar food a miss it’s very average.

Shower was incredibly boiling hot so couldn’t be used. I was unable to make it colder at all. I found the check in code system ok but arriving in the dark, even at 6pm on my own as a woman didn’t feel very safe. A lot of enclosed spaces and being on the 4th floor, I had to spend time in the stairwell. ...

Goodramgate Apartments
You cannot get more central in York. And probably not more noisy. Well equipped apartment but you could hear the neighbours 24/7. Slightly off putting. But the staff and location is almost worth the noise. We shall return. And opt for a bigger flat next time.
