“Amazing location right across the street from the entrance to Hunter. Very clean and spacious. Comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen. We had one glitch that was quickly addressed by our lovely host. We would come stay again!”

“Overall the stay was nice. The inside of the home was very neat and tidy. My complaints would be that the outdoor BBQ hut grill was not clean. Also, we were unable to use the hot tub because the chemicals were very overpowering. It was kind of a bummer not being able to use those amenities but otherwise we had a very nice stay.”

“There were 26 of us for a nice family gathering. Plenty of bedrooms and beds. Only 2 showers for 26 people a little challenging. Kitchen facilities lacking materials as noted in the listing. Bring your own pots and pans. Hot tub and fire pit were a nice addition. All in all, worked out great.”

From the high-quality dishes to the beautiful design, sauna, outdoor space and fenced-in backyard, it was a great vacation for all of us, including the dog. “Our family was attending a wedding at Hunter Mtn Resort. The rental was perfect for our weekend. The location was great,beautiful trail across the street and the wooded lot was peaceful. Wish we had stayed and extra day to enjoy the many restaurants and little towns.”

“The number of bedrooms and bathrooms was great for the 13 of us. The big kitchen, pantry and long dining tables made for fun interaction. The game room with pool table and ping pong table were perfect for after dinner fun. Beautiful property on the river. We plan to go back. Historic homes are tough to maintain and our hope is that it is as nice in the future as it was this week.”

“We explored VRBO after being unable to find a hotel room in town and were not disappointed! This property was immaculate and well designed with bedrooms and full baths at opposite ends of the house and a large common area off the kitchen with decks. The location was perfect, out of town, but not too far, and on a beautiful quiet country road with a wonderful natural hedgerow creating privacy. It is very conveniently located for those that like to take advantage of skiing between Hunter and Windham mountains. “We decided on a trip to Hunter Mountain with our family and some of my sons friends. I came across this house and let me tell you the pictures do not do it justice it’s even better in person!! We were beyond happy with the house and the location…. The house was fully stocked with everything you could imagine. So much room for our group of 13 including our golden retriever! The kids and adults loved the game room some adults even had a Pac-Man competition. We will definitely stay at this house...
