“Absolutely beautiful converted barn, set in a lovely village, we had everything we needed and more, the host Jayne greeted us on the driveway and was very pleasant, we had a lovely meal in the pub across the road the homemade chips were delicious Thank you for a lovely stay would highly recommend this holiday home ”

“Our stay was great! The host was easy to communicate with. The property was very clean and well maintained. It is in a quiet neighborhood that is also just a short walk to stores and restaurants. We would definitely choose Saks Villa again when staying in town.”

Even the standard cottage folder is bespoke with individual laminated walking maps inside. “Got to the property and found someone living there and it wasn't the host. Couldn't get in touch with the supposed host. Contacted vrbo who were as useful as a fart in a spacesuit. Had to then urgently find other accommodation which thankfully we did through a reliable source. Booking. Com. Had contacted vrbo two days before the booking to raise concerns and was told everything was fine and i shouldn't worry. Overall experience was horrendous. “20 of us spent a long weekend at Glentworth Hall including a day trip out to Doncaster Races. Absolutely stunning house, truthfully it had space for more guests - it really is huge. We could have stayed longer to use all the facilities but we all had a great time. ”

“We stayed for one night as we had tickets to see Texas at Lincoln Castle and wished we had booked for longer. It's perfect for 2 people or 2 couples, the decor is lovely, it's spotlessly clean and well placed for local pubs etc, with a taxi to the castle just 8. The beds were very comfy and our host left lots of bread etc as the co-op next door is closed at the moment. A really relaxing place to stay just four miles from the city.”

“This is the second time my friend and I have stayed in this property and it won’t be our last! The property is situated down a quiet road within easy walking distance to the heart of the lovely town of Beverley. The property is clean and tidy and well equipped. There’s a lovely patio area to the back of the house too. The parking space, at the property, is quite tight. I have a Corsa and managed to park with a bit of manoeuvring so if you have a larger car it may be worth you asking for a...

"Second time I stayed here. Bed is good and firm. But the sheets, even tho they were clean, had stains. Very thin walls. I heard when the neighbour spoke on the phone in the room next door. Or when people came in late and spoke in the hallway. Bathroom needs to be updated. Very hot water in one tap and very cold in one. Wall paper is coming off in the room. No power outlets by the bed, not even usb. Dirty windows. I had to move the bed, wish I didn't. Previous guests trash under it. It looked clean but so many things had stains on it, like the small info signs or the walls, the furniture was sticky. A hoover was in the hallway, when I walked up the stairs (elevator was out of order) but it was not clean. A lot of dirt in the stairs. Positive: Free parking and nice personnel in the morning. I gave it two chances. First time was bad, second worse. Too bad because the location is quite suitable. "
