âLocation was great for really great access to this quaint town. Roll out of bed and cross the bascule bridge (or watch it open- fun for kids)!, tons of great restaurants within 2-3 minute walk. All of the water happenings are visible from the hotel. Breakfast at Sift, a 5 minute walk "must" for great breakfast/ unbelievable croissants! Seaport close by 5 min car ride. Nice high quality rocking chairs on porches. Great restaurant on facility. Down to earth not pretentious. Just a great spot...
âIt was a great stay. It was our first time staying at a Bed and Breakfast and will certainly not be our last now with such a great experience we had at the House of 1833. Evan was an exceptional host/chef. He gave us a tour of the home and the history. The breakfast in the morning was incredible from the homemade apple cranberry muffin to the Greek Italian Mac & Cheese Spinach Souffle. We would highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a quiet, yet close to town place to stay. â
âThey really catered to people with dogs I highly recomend if you are travelling with a fog. It is also close to everithing like mystick village. â
âOur dinner at the hotel was not what we excpecte. My chesse mac and short ribs was delicious my husband had Prim rib and a bake potato was less then room temperature. He did inform the waitress after we paid the bill. The Prim Rib dinner was a great disappointment therefore we did not eat there again during iut stay.â
âReally friendly and quaint. But I did not realize that I had grown out of shared bathroom until I noticed this is what was provided.. otherwise ansolutely perfect and with super delicious breakfastâ
âThis was such a great find. The rooms are immaculate. Theyâre not fancy by any means, but you can tell they take pride in cleanliness and presentation. The front desk staff were great, and they had a nice continental breakfast. I really liked the fact that we could park at the beach and have our own private section of the beach as well by staying there. I didnât get to use the pool, but it had a nice area and upper deck to go with it. Would absolutely recommend!â
