“We really love this place.”

“1872 Inn exceeded my expectations. The front desk and housekeeping staff were all so kind and helpful. Check in was easy, and it was very nice being escorted to our room and shown were the amenities were. Breakfast each morning offered a variety of hot and cold options, and staff continually cleaned and refilled. I chose this inn while in town for the Yellowstone 1/2. It was an easy 6/7 min walk to the start line. Would choose this hotel again. ”

“The hotell felt like going back to the late 80’s early 90’s. But well maintained. Had it not been for the price in comparison to what you get the rating would have been higher. Although that is true for almost all hotels in West Yellowstone. The pool was nice and warm but the setting was not cozy at all. ”

“We stayed at room 22 and there's a strong unpleasant smell in the room which was disgusting - it feels like someone cooked Indian food in this room for a while and the smell doesn't leave the room. I wanna say it's not the foods problem, I wish the motel house keeping could do a better job by cleaning the smell as well. This is a motel comes with kitchen so if you do not have cooking needs I do not recommend staying here. The whole night I was struggling with the weird smell and didnt rest well....

“The cabin was nice and inviting at first. It certainly passed the eye test when we walked in. I really didn’t start noticing uncleanliness until it came time to take a shower. The bottom of the shower, though I’m sure was stained, looked really gross. The drain itself had caked up dirt and found there to be a mold behind the shower. The dry wall adjacent to the shower was very soft and at the base was turning black. The closet behind the shower (in the bedroom) had some mold as well. As...

“Cute, cozy, and clean! Beds were comfortable, cabins were very clean and charming. Restaurants and shopping all within easy walking distance. Distance to park entrance is just a few minutes drive.”

“The place is very conveniently located. However, the staff was not very helpful. When asked to refill the hand soap in the room, they asked to come back to the lobby to pick it up. The breakfast options were not great.”

“Only one washing machine is working, the other one was broken. The play stations in the game room were also broken.”

“We had a wonderful stay! The cozy wooden cabins were beautiful, the hot tub was perfect after a day of exploring, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We would definitely love to come back!”
