âWe had a wonderful 7-night-stay at MonteBay Perla. Perfect location for a family trip (5km outside of Kotor, with a little beach right in the front of the hotel), nice and kind staff, free parking at the hotel (very practical as we learned that parking can be a nightmare around the Bay, at least in July), magical view from the restaurant, the room was fresh, spacey and clean (we had a Junior Suite in the upper building) with a nice, big balcony. âNice hotel in the middle of Kotor's old town. Very helpful staff (got a lot of good tips and upgraded to a nicer room). Tasty local breakfast. Unfortunately the hotel is located in the very noisy area, a lot of night clubs and pubs located just outside the hotel so it is noisy during the night (until 1am or even longer). The hotel provided us earplugs so after the first bad night, other nights were more comfy. â

âExcellent nice, a bit small, but modern and clean apartment. It is a quiet place in the mountains.
Would be nice though to have softer mattresses, power sockets and night light fixtures at the night stands by the bed. Unfortunately, AC is available only in the living room, which left other rooms quite hot during the sunny days.
While property has on-site secured gated parking, it should have a blind spot mirrors. Absence of which already have cased a damage to our rental car.â
âLocation in old town is fantastic, if you like clubbing and partying. Room is noisy and party just below windows is till about 3 o'clock in the night.
We didn't bother much about noise though, we sleep easily.
To be fair I think the guesthouse has 3 proper rooms that would be okay if you're not scared of the noise and poor service, rooms 1, 2 and 3 looked decent enough. Unluckily we had room number 4.
We were mainly frustrated that the room they put us in was not really shown in the photos...

"Vi var tvÄ familjer som reste ihop, men kom med olika flyg. Vi bÄda bokade flygplatstransfer, som hotellet bekrÀftade men som inte fanns pÄ plats nÀr vi kom. Vi bokade ett rum för fyra personer, men det var förberett för tre. Porslin var anpassat för tvÄ. Det finns ingen restaurang pÄ hotellet. Det renoveras en hel del pÄ omrÄdet, sÄ man pÄverkas av grÀvmaskinerna. Det bÀsta var utsikten och en hÀrlig pool (ej uppvÀrmd). "
"The big downside was a bar/club next door which played loud music until 1am every single day of the week. The base from the music could be heard and felt in our room. Obviously this is not the hotels fault BUT when it is a known problem they should be telling you in advance during check in or write it on their website and maybe hand out ear plugs to show they actually care. The hotel itself is nice, good location, clean but the staff was not very enthusiastic and it felt a bit awkward coming into the lobby. The room was nice, had a fridge, big bathroom and nice beds. "
