“Very private property and very quiet during the day (noisy at night from Coqui frogs but I slept fine with ear plugs). Lovely trees & flowers in the yard. Short drive to the park & restaurants. We enjoyed our stay. The host gave prompt responses & clear instructions. I would recommend the cottage.”

“The grounds were amazing. We were allowed to pick our own fruits like papaya, sapote, banana, mountain apple, avocado, cacao, etc. The property was clean and cozy, and the outdoor shower was very nice. Only downside was a couple of loud coqui frogs at night, and it was a bit of a drive to Hilo.”

“From the moment we arrived on the property, we could tell it was going to be beautiful! The little cabin is situated in the middle of the forest 10 minutes from volcano national Park. The grass driveway and surrounding forestry is pretty amazing to arrive too. The cabinet itself is clean and updated, while still remaining very charmingly rustic. There's a huge shower and the water gets hot very quickly. The fireplace under the television is a beautiful addition for chili nights. And the washer...

“The Pineapple Cottage is a lovely place - even better than we expected. The lanai is just so wonderful, the swinging bed, the chairs, the view over the fruit trees and the ocean. The house was perfect, clean and had everything we needed. Madeleine is a perfect host. Wish we can come back - very soon”

“Biggest advantage of the house is the short distance to the N.P. The house itself could be a little bit more cleaned. Also the bed is not very comfortable. But all in all we had a good time. ”
