The weird thing is that there were no towels provided and no tv in the room, kitchen utensils weren't that clean but I brought my own so not an issue. The bed was above average for comfort and very clean. Parking is a nightmare and up a very steep hill, keep this in mind. “We had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful house for a friends reunion. The house is charming, comfortable, with great communal areas and cosy bedrooms. It’s well placed near a train station, and a great walk. We loved the fireplace and the hot tub which created a great atmosphere and kept us warm in winter.”

“The house was very clean, well equipped and quiet. We were staying to visit our daughter at college and this proprty was perfect for that. “We were celebrating my wife’s 70th birthday, and wanted comfortable and special accommodation for family members and friends. We also wanted to be able to enjoy a grand meal together for up to 14 of us. Compton House was perfect for us - a very unusual and lovely property. Our host was very responsive and very helpful in every way. Thank you so much Patricia, we really enjoyed our stay in your beautiful house.”

“As described, convenient location to everywhere you can walk to in Cardiff. Property was clean, comfortable, air a bit smokey. Keeping the windows open helped alleviate the smell by the 2d day. Property was perfect for 2 adults -convertible sofa was comfortable and simple to operate. Property had a lot of thoughtful touches that were really appreciated. Future U.S. guests should bring their own power converter in order to recharge phones, tablets, and MACs. Local shops closest to the property do...
