Pirates Beach is a great location due to being far enough from the Seawall to be quiet but close enough to drive back on forth for restaurants and shopping. Kitchen was stocked well and the pictures are accurate. Small suggestions: there is no laundry soap provided so make sure you bring some if you will do laundry. “Nutshell version, functional but needs some updates. Only one smoke detector, fine for a small house, but the batteries were low, and it was linked to the alarm system and kept beeping every few hours, which was irritating. I did call the host to see if there's a way to hush the notification, but she never called me back. She was initially very proactive with contact, just not that time for whatever reason. Not sure if she didn't realize I'd called?Only body wash available, no hand soap. Tub...

“I brought my staff to the island for a working retreat and this was the perfect venue! The house was beautiful—a great balance of antique and modern decor with all the amenities you would ever need. The location is definitely within a short walk of the strand or a cheap uber ride. The hostess was very responsive and answered all of my questions in a timely manner. We will be back!”
