VÄrt enstaka strandhus Àr nyligen renoverat och innehÄller en stor, helt ny uppvÀrmd pool. Hemmet ligger i ett lugnt bostadsomrÄde och bara en kort, direkt promenad till en av de vackraste strÀnderna pÄ Gulf Coast. Hemmet har en stor tÀckt bakre veranda med utsikt över poolen och nyligen anlagda, inhÀgnad pÄ gÄrden. Du kommer att upptÀcka att hemmet har alla bekvÀmligheter frÄn strandstolar och parasoller till ett vÀlfylldt kök. Ta bara nÄgra flip flops och en baddrÀkt!

Vi Àr ocksÄ gÄngavstÄnd frÄn den fria vagnen som gÄr varje tjugo minut upp och ner pÄ 7 mil ön, med stopp lÀngs vÀgen. Hoppa pÄ för shopping och sightseeing och restauranger i Holmes Beach, Bradington Beach och Anna Maria! Pröva dig pÄ vÀrldsberömt tarponfiske, parasoll, paddla ombord eller cykla! Kör ut till Sarasota och besök historiska St. Armands Circle för god mat, nattliv och massor av shopping. Tampa Àr en och en halv timme bort, och Orlando ligger ocksÄ inom köravstÄnd om du vill besöka nÄgra temaparker under ditt besök. Oavsett om du letar efter ett litet Àventyr eller bara lite avkoppling, har vi det du behöver för en rolig Florida-semester i solen!

Underbart, lugnt, och vackert

Vi Àr sÄ nöjda med huset. Perfekt hus för barnfamiljer. Barnen lÄg i poolen konstant. Alla bekvÀmligheter finns i huset, inget fattas. Om vi kommer igen hyr vi samma hus igen. Saknar huset och Anna Maria Island!

Heaven on AMI

If you are looking for a cozy home to rent on AMI, Our Blue Heaven is your place. Everything you need is there, and has been lovingly restored since the hurricanes.. The owners are a wonderful couple, and very attentive to anything you might need concerning the house. The beach is a short two block walk, shopping and restaurants are within walking distance as well. For days that are too windy at the beach, the private pool at the home is divine. We love Our Blue Heaven!

Delight

This house such a delight to stay in during our Fourth of July vacation week! It is difficult to find small but updated homes like this on AMI. The covered back porch and pool area were our favorite, but really the house had everything we needed and more. It felt like much more like staying in someone’s well-cared-for home instead of in a bland, characterless vacation property. And in the perfect location for the beach and all the fun of AMI. We hope to come back soon!

AMI family vacation

Our family had a wonderful, memorable vacation. Everyone enjoyed the pool, especially our water logged children. Location was key. Host communication was seamless. Any minor things are insignificant and not worth mentioning. Would definitely recommend.

Relax and enjoy life!

This is an old Florida home with some updates. It is comfy and “homey”. Short walk to the beach and a great pool! Katherine, the owner, is a delight. A great place to unwind, for sure.

Fantastic!

This home is the perfect place for a family. The heated pool kept the kids occupied on the cooler days and it was easy to watch the children in the pool from anywhere in the house. This meant I could be doing laundry or prepping a meal while keeping an eye on the kiddos. The furniture was comfortable, too, which is not always the case in rentals. We will definitely be staying again!

Older Home

My family and I visited 10/28/23-11/4-23 for a family vacation. We booked this property for being close to the beach, heated pool and it was cheaper than other properties. Unfortunately, this property had more negatives than positives. The positives were the short walk to the beach and the backyard with lights which had a covered patio that we ate at every meal. The negatives were no check in from the owners once we got there to see how things were going or if we needed anything, lack of communication from the owners, grill didn't work, TV didn't work which not the end of the world as we didn't go there to watch tv but would have been nice to watch a Halloween movie or two, pool was not heated as the listing said, the place overall was very dusty and did not look like it had been cleaned, the washer smelled very strongly of mildew so we ended up taking our clothes to a laundromat. Then there is the issues of the cockroaches that we found. At first it was only a couple which not the end of the world but then we had found one in a drawer with cooking utensils which prompted my husband to remove the drawer and that is where we found A LOT of dead ones. We had messaged the owners about them and the response we got back we didn't feel it was professional. We do not recommend this property nor will we rent it again.

A few unexpected things.

The instructions seemed to contradict check-in time, in one place it said 4 pm, and in another, it said 6 pm. We had no problem getting to the house and got right in with the code given to us. The instructions seemed to be outdated, referring to masks that must be worn on Anna Maria Island. That should be revised. I saw a few wearing one. What seemed to be the master bedroom and bath, there was a pile of bed linens on the floor against the bed with a note saying "Xtra master quilt & shams"; the top bed sheet on the bed was all wrinkled and looked as though the bed had not been changed; in the bathroom, there was a basket presumably for used towel one. (I have photos to validate those facts). We thought the cleaning people didn't complete the job and forgot to return. Otherwise, we had a wonderful time. The kitchen had every utensil a chef would and abundant china and glassware. We were disappointed that there were no "lounge chairs" by the pool. We got by with the large tubes. Katherine was very responsive when I contacted her to see if I had left 2 pairs of my glasses. In the meantime, I found them in my suitcase LOVED IT.

Holmes Beach

Very Clean.Great Location. Down the street from a beautiful beach. Decorations enhanced the beach vibe. Outdoor space very private and tropical. Would definitely recommend this unique piece of paradise.

Great beach house!

The house has everything you need for a relaxing beach escape. You can walk less than 2 blocks to the beach or just enjoy the backyard pool. It's perfect for the family.

Great relaxation

Our stay was amazing, property was clean, well organized, and full of fun. After an amazing day at the beach, this was the perfect place to relax the rest of the evening. Owner was amazing in the way the one small hiccup with the property and stayed in touch above and beyond to see that it was handled. Look forward to staying at this property again.

Due to Winter Freeze storm we were not able to visit FL. Airports closed until 27th in MI. Katherine did offer to rebook us in January/February. She was very responsive and seemed to care!

Fun in the sun!

This place is the ultimate perfect vacation home! Large rooms through out, ample space for all of us. I especially appreciated how many essential items there were for us to use. Laundry detergents, cleaning supplies, toilet paper, etc. The backyard is exactly how it appears. An absolute oasis! I can't say enough about the pool, sitting areas, bar, and our favorite game, JENGA! The night lighting is soo awesome! There is just too much to type to explain how wonderful this property is. Thank you for such a wonderful, lovely, fun home.

Great Time on AMI!

A little bit of paradise!

Great location! A very short block or so to the beach. The backyard with the pool was an oasis! We split our time between the pool and the beach. We spent most of our evenings playing games on the table on the covered patio- a little chilly in the evening while we were there so no evening swims. Enough space for the 6 of us. The kitchen was supplied well with all the needed items for cooking meals at home. Communication was fantastic- Katherine responded promptly. The only negative (and the host has no control over it)- the neighbor's pool filtration/pump was extremely loud- it didn't sound like it was working properly- detracted a bit from the beautiful ambiance Katherine and Joe have set up in their backyard oasis.
