“The property was almost exactly as described. The cabin has character and makes you feel at home with the decorations. We had our young grandkids (2 and 4) staying with us. There was plenty of room for them to play, and they loved the bunk beds! When they say the drive is rough, believe it. If you have a car with little ground clearance (Chevy Malibu), you really have to weave around to keep from scraping. Our kids had a mini van and an SUV and they had no problems. The hosts were very attentive...

“Desiring escape from society and rest for your soul, look no further to this destination. Love it when a house has two completely different scenescapes encompassing the property. Inside accommodations very nice and adequate. Only drawback occurred on hot days the upper levels did not cool down very well at night time…thinking fans would be a good idea in a warming climate. Overall, a great and relaxing experience and worth the money.”

“We had a 2 night stay while in Catskill for a wedding. My hubby, 8 year old and 2 dogs in tow. House was just right for us. My son loved the board games available and the foosball table. House is uncluttered and very clean. Surrounding are is historic with a short walk to downtown shops. I would definitely rent here again. ”

“This room was listed accurately and has amazing aesthetics. The host was super communicative and attentive and did his best to help me navigate the sidewalk improvements that were being made on the day of my arrival. My one suggestion would be to provide a kureg or similar basic coffee set up in the room for guests. It was my first time to visit Yonkers and there wasn’t a lot of coffee shops there. Thanks for delivering a quality experience, I would stay here again.”

“Very clean, comfortable, and quiet property. Although advertised one car parking, actually can park 2, which is good since limited street parking in a crowded neighborhood. Highly recommended if you're staying in the NYC area.”
