None measured up and that was only based on the images. The pictures undersold the property, utterly. The Garden House became a serendipitous highlight of our trip to Edinburgh. “Carefully planned and decorated. Well equipped had we wanted to cook, but we eat out. We were lucky with the weather and walked the St Monans to Crail and Lower Largo to Elie sections of the coastal path, taking advantage of the 915 bus. We visited St Andrews ( university and golf boring, but town interesting), Kelly’s castle and Falkland Palace. Craig Millard restaurant in St Monans excellent.”

“Quaint More than adequate for two people. Would have given a higher score but i thought with a B&Q i was disappointed that there was no private garden. Floor mats and carpets were a bit shabby but everything else was lovely and the central heating and the most comfortable of beds made it very cosy stay Thank You”

“An excellent property to rent outside of Edinburgh. Perfect for dogs and families. The cottage was warm and well lit when we arrived and the fireplace was already prepped with a basket full of logs. The manager of the property was very friendly and she came over to introduce herself and check we had everything we needed. Strongly recommend and will be going back.”

“Good walking distance to a lot of the mayor attractions! The bed was very comfortable and the staff was amazing! ⭐️⭐️ When we noticed that the room wasn't super clean when we arrived, they offered us a new room and to get the other room cleaned. It was only a few small things with the cleaning that wasn't super great. But overall, we are very happy with our stay and we can definitely se ourselves staying there again! ”
