“Perfect location for exploring all of Skye, not too remote, but very peaceful. The cottage is clean, modern, and very sunny (when the sun is out!). Owner was responsive to our needs, I would look forward to renting here again.”

“Overall, I liked this cottage. It is definitely out in the country so I hope anyone looking at this home understands that moths and spiders exist in the world. We named the spiders and left them alone and nobody was bothered by them. The other reason for the 3 stars on cleanliness was just because some of the bathroom items could have been cleaner, including the shower mat. Sandra, the owner, was super responsive and wonderful. However, they do have a property manager, and I tried to contact him...

“The owner met us there and had the fire going. He was very nice and gave us a lot of pointers on where to go and what to see, not your typical tourist attractions. We were there for a few nights for our honeymoon and he had a little surprise waiting for us when we got there. If your looking for a quiet cool little place to stay I would highly recommend staying here. Our only negative was the bed was a little small for someone who is a bit taller.”

“We had a great time here and loved the property! The beds were comfortable and everything we needed was there, and more! The only trouble we had was figuring out how to open and lock the door - it often took a few minute before getting it, but that could be because our door handles are different in Canada and we had to figure the tricks out. It is a short distance from Portree by car but perhaps too far to walk frequently into Portree (2 miles). The property was clean, quiet, and very comfortable.”
