“This property was the most tranquil stay I have ever had. I felt safe the entire time and the owner was lovely to deal with. I would like to return for a longer stay. They have everything you need too, including a hair dryer and shampoo/conditioner/shower gel. We cooked our Christmas dinner in the over which was fine for two people. The property was also lovely and cosy. Not cold at all.”

“Our family loved this stay. Beautiful cabin with lots of spaces to spread out, gorgeous views. Ready access to local sites with a car. 20min to Hofn, about 1 hour to the glacier lagoon area. Hiking right there. Very relaxing, we stayed 3 nights I could have stayed longer!”

“Wir verbrachten in Thordis' schönem Haus Anfangs März 2020 vier Nächte als Familie (2 Paare). Wir fanden im sauberen Haus alles, was wir brauchten. Die Inneneinrichtung ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Das Haus liegt abseits der Strasse nach Gullfoss in einer weiten und ruhigen Landschaft mit genügend Abstand zu einigen anderen Häusern. Thordis kontaktierte uns von Zeit zu Zeit via Mail kurz vor, während und am Ende unseres Aufenthaltes. Danke Thordis! Wir kommen gerne wieder! ”
