“Stunning space in a beautiful location. Quiet relaxing and calming. Lovely touches including automatic night lights, Christmas decorated tree outside (definitely going to steal this idea), very generous welcome pack. Fabulous shower and comfy bed. Lovely walks on the doorstep and a great local cafe for brunch. We could keep going with the positives! Alistair and Julie were very attentive and lovely hosts. Highly recommended. ”

“The Stables is a charming and spacious property. We were thrilled to find it beautifully decorated for Christmas and an amazing basket of goodies/treats that we enjoyed throughout our stay. We were disappointed to find many of the light bulbs burned out or nonfunctional, leaving no lighting in the main hallway. Heating such an old home is always challenging, so not surprising to find the first floor very cold and the upstairs quite warm. The pillows and mattresses throughout the house left much...

“Lovely log fire, which made it very Christmassy. Host was very welcoming and flexible about check in.Great kitchen space with a good range of cooking pots and pans.Ely is within walking distance with a lovely market a couple of days per week: some great local produce.The cathedral was lovely and with a short walk to the riverside. Great fish and chips and some lovely pubs.”

“This is a lovely, spacious and well-appointed house. It was too hot to make best use of the duvets, but the beds were very comfortable. There was plenty of crockery and cutlery - and a dishwasher to avoid the washing up. The powered recliners were especially welcome after a day of much walking. Naturally there is quite a lot of farm activity in the area, but it was far enough away not to be intrusive, and the people on the farm were very friendly and welcoming. Definitely a property to remember.”

“Fantastiskt lägenhetshotell utrustat med allt du kan tänkas behöva vid en längre (eller kortare) vistelse. Spishäll, ugn, mikro, stort kylskåp, tvättmaskin, diskmaskin och allt var i toppskick! 10/10 på allt. Vi fick även lämna väskorna då vi anlände tidigt, inga problem alls. Supertrevlig personal och så fint område - lugnt, stillsamt och tryggt med en stor och fräsch matbutik bara 100 meter bort. Finns även en stor takterrass, dock utan bar eller dylikt så ta med eget snacks och dricka....
