We had a great stay, but a few minor things made this a 4-star, rather than a 5-star, review (I would have given 4.5 stars, but that’s not an option). The biggest ding, and one that is easily remedied, is the fact that there was trash strewn about the front of the property by the parking area. There is a small dumpster by the curb, which is convenient, but there was quite a bit of food and trash on the ground, including a plastic bag stuck in a small bush that blew in the wind the entire time we were there (I wanted to get it, but was afraid of disturbing the people staying in the first cabin). This made a rather poor first impression on us when we pulled in after a long day exploring Yellowstone. The few other things that influenced my rating were the small bags of dog poop on the ground by the dog poop cleanup bag dispenser; the fact that it took a LONG time for the hot water to get hot (it eventually did); the couch in the living room was pretty rough, fraying, and not the most comfortable; and you can hear your neighbors - both next door and walking by your unit if you have the windows open. Having spent the 4 previous nights in a remote cabin outside Yellowstone, maybe I was more sensitive to the fact we had neighbors. It ended up not being a problem, but it’s something to note if you’re looking for more solitude.
On the plus side, the unit was extremely clean, the layout and space is great, it was quiet at night, and the location can’t be beat...extremely convenient to downtown and Grand Teton NP.
Even with my “minor” issues, my family and I had a very enjoyable time and I’d definitely stay here again.
