“If you want a place to relax and just enjoy the beautiful nature and animals in the surrounding this is the hotel to stay at. You will eat your meals by the beach only a few meters from the ocean. Food is very tasty and includes both Asian and Western dishes. Deers can be seen all around. Snorkeling is lovely just off the beach but even better if you take the tour to Menjangan Island. The staff is very friendly, helpful and always smiling.”

Besonders hervorheben möchten wir den außergewöhnlichen Service: Nachdem ich mir in einem anderen Lokal eine Lebensmittelvergiftung zugezogen hatte, wurde mir hier auf jede erdenkliche Weise geholfen. Das Team hat sofort einen Arzt gerufen, regelmäßig nachgefragt, ob es mir besser geht, und mir sogar Elektrolyte zur Verfügung gestellt. Diese Fürsorge und Aufmerksamkeit sind wirklich nicht...

“Nice place to get away from it all. No beach access, so the beach is an 'intereting ' trip back down the hill, and a challenging climb back home.”

“Nice enough luxury hotel with pleasant pool area, spa and gym. Some quirks, though: 1) they charge taxis for parking when they drop off guests, and 2) they charge taxi rate x 3 for dropping you downtown (ordering at taxi takes at lest 30-40 minutes due do the location.”

“My wife and I recently stayed at Villa Borobudur for 3 nights. It was a wonderful experience that we won't soon forget. We were upgraded to the Merababu villa (from the Merapi Jungle Room) - and oh, what an upgrade(!): we had our own living room, pool and choice of 3 bedrooms, all overlooking the valley below, featuring mountains in the distance. At different times of the day, the calls to prayer from the various nearby mosques would echo throughout the valley, while, at other times, you...

“The resort is located in a national park and it offers great comfort at the same time as it offers excellent opportunities to explore and enjoy the surrounding national park. I would particularly advice to walk slowly along the mangrove during low tide. Stand perfectly still for about 2-3 minutes and a wide array of colourful crabs will apear! We also strongly recommend having a massage at the SPA. The service at the resort is perfect!”

“We were looking for a comfortable hotel near Ijen. From check-in to departure, the staff was always there to make our stay perfect! Thank you for everything! The hotel, garden, and rooms are all tastefully decorated. The restaurant offers a varied menu (breakfast included). We also tried the private barbecue experience — definitely a big plus!
