First impression was not so good as the lobby looked dated. For me, that was a bad sign because I had a feeling the rooms looked dated as well. We selected the Junior Swim out room and it was horrible. The mirror in the bathroom was peeling and looked very dated, you could barely see your reflection in the mirror. Tiles on the room floors were cracked in some areas and the shower had sewage smell coming from the drain. There was still a wet towel sitting on one of the loungers out on the patio. We requested a new room and we were given a Premium suite which was much nicer. The staff were all good and polite except one guy who delivered room service one night. The food was just ok. The best food we ate was at the Japanese restaurant. The room service food often arrived not hot, but was delivered fairly quick. In the Premium room we noticed small little bugs in the floor near the balcony door. They didn’t enter the room entirely, but they were there. The bar drinks were hit or miss. The Mezcalito bar had decent drinks, but the other bars were hit or miss. Overall, it was just ok and I would look for a more updated resort if we ever visit any all inclusive resort in Mexico.
