“Hotel was an older property, in a quiet part of Lihue. Room was in reasonable condition, the room was clean but showed some of the age of the property but don't think that is an easy fix and was part of the charm. The room fridge was very helpful, as was the small amount of utensils provided. All the staff were very friendly and kind. Was able to store luggage prior to check-in and after check-out which was a big help. The coffee available was good and an added bonus. Parking was limited but...

“We’ve stayed here a handful of times over the years, unfortunately it just seems to be deteriorating at an alarming rate. Although our room on this visit was clean, and relatively updated, the rest of the building & grounds are a mess. Peeling paint, cracks in the buildings, grounds are unkept, and the koi pond breaks my heart. It does appear that they are attempting to do some upgrades, but it’s a little too late for us. We will definitely not spend our money here in the future.”

“They didn't honor the Expedia VIP status, even though the property is listed as a Expedia VIP property and one of the main reasons we booked this resort. We were not given an upgrade, and the lady at the counter said they didn't really honor the Expedia VIP when I asked about it.”
