Appleby Castle
"The building is old. Its was clean and comfy for what it is. We knew that and accepted that at the time of booking, its was authentic. The food was amazing !!! The drinks ovepriced so the bill was a shocker if honest, the games ropm little run down and darts broken but a nice stay overall."

The Fox Hall Inn
"Very friendly and helpful staff. Large spacious well equipped bedroom with all the amenities that you would need. Maybe could do with a coffee table to eat your breakfast hamper off and a hook on the back of the bathroom door A wonderful stay and very good value for money."

Orton Hall, Royalist Suite
"Orton Hall is stunning, grounds are lovely to walk around, staid in the Royalist Suit, very nice! Not to give it away but there is a secret door, (can you find it) it was brilliant for our long weekend, didn’t want to leave. Royalist Suit is a self contained flat and it’s perfect.
