“We had a lovely short break staying at Anna and Johns Little Haven. The cottage was spotlessly clean, nicely decorated, with a very comfortable bed. Heacham is a quiet village just a few miles outside Hunstanton with a couple of good dogfriendly pubs. Highly recommended. Thanks Anna and John.”

“This is a delightful cottage, with a cosy sitting-room and then much larger than expected and extremely well-equipped kitchen/diner at the back. We didn’t have sitting out weather, but there is a small secluded garden at the back which would be lovely in summer - better than it appears on the Vrbo photos. Despite being on a road called High Street it is very quiet. A bonus is the well above-average quality selection of books and DVDs available.”

“We had a fantastic stay at Carpenters cottage in Heacham. The cottage was extremely comfortable and well equipped with a generous welcome basket provided by the host. The location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area. We had two lovely meals at the Rose and Crown in Snettisham (a short 6 minute drive) and at The West Norfolk within walking distance. The host couldn't have been more helpful. We would definitely return and highly recommend this wonderful cottage.”

“The property was clean and all in good condition. Everything we required was supplied and we had no problems at all. I would make two observations. one Could the second bedroom be changed to the one with the bunk beds in it as the two beds together were fine once you got in but tricky to get out of the inside one. Second the big rug in the lounge area needs a good clean as it was full of dog hairs and normal dirt. Not good for a three year old to put his toys on. Apart from that the overall...

“Very quiet and low lit area - perfect for stargazing. No WiFi so the kids stayed off their devices and enjoyed watching the chickens roam around freely. My little boy even got to help feed some which he thought was brilliant. Mary and her husband are top class hosts! Would definitely recomendthis place to anyone who wants a quiet rural getaway. ”

“The Stables is a charming and spacious property. We were thrilled to find it beautifully decorated for Christmas and an amazing basket of goodies/treats that we enjoyed throughout our stay. We were disappointed to find many of the light bulbs burned out or nonfunctional, leaving no lighting in the main hallway. “The house is very spacious and well equipped. The spiral staircase up to the two bedrooms is very steep and narrow, this could prevent some less able people accessing this area. It is too steep for younger children without very close supervision. The location of the house is very peaceful, great for a relaxing time together.”

“As far as the stay I honestly couldn’t fault it my bed was super comfy I stayed in the queen suite with shared bathroom it was spotless and warm too Helen had the radiators on and an electric blanket in the bed which was much welcomed as I stayed mid- January. If you do stay in this room just switch the blanket on and wait an hour you might not be able to feel it to the touch but once you get into bed you’ll feel it. There was plenty of tea & coffee plus nice little touches like water chocolate...

“Absolutely beautiful cottage. Perfect placement for a Norfolk beach break away. Very clean, tidy and beautifully decorated property ! Loved the bathroom ! Bed was very comfortable ! Excellent communication with the owner and the property has a lovely pub very close by which is great. Lovely landlord and lady. Literally everything I wanted and needed in a holiday stay with my 3 dogs. Even the neighbours were al lovely and had 3 separate neighbours stop for a chat ! Thank you, id definitely stay...

“The hosts were great with contact from start to finish. We arrived to find a cake and some milk, which was a thoughtful touch, and they checked in with us to make sure we had found the place too. The location is perfect; really close to the beach but also there's a river at the back of the lodge where you can sit on a swing and watch the birds for hours. My daughter loved it and loved feeding the birds too. The place was spotless. Beds were so comfy too. We will hopefully be back!”
